JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Results (OUT): Record-Breaking Number of Top Scorers Push JEE Advanced Cutoff to Five-Year High.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the much-awaited results for the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 today, April 24th.  This year's session witnessed a historic feat, with a record-breaking 56 candidates scoring a perfect 100 NTA score. This significant rise in top scorers, compared to previous years, has intensified competition and is expected to push the cut-off percentiles for the prestigious JEE Advanced exam to a five-year-high.

The detailed breakdown of the top scorers reveals 40 from the general category, 10 from the OBC category, and 6 from the gen-EWS category. Students can access their scorecards and analyze their performance by downloading them from the official NTA website. The official announcement of cut-offs for admission to engineering colleges is also anticipated soon.


With such a high number of top scorers, experts predict a significant increase in cut-offs for admission to engineering programs across India. This emphasizes the need for aspirants to secure exceptional scores to secure their seats in these institutions.


How to Check JEE Main Session 2 Result 2024

  1. Go to the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) or the JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

  2. Search for the Result or JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Result link on the homepage or in the website's menu.

  3. Enter your application number, date of birth, and other necessary information to access your result. Ensure that you input the correct details.

  4. After entering your credentials, submit the information to proceed.

  5. Once your information is successfully submitted, your JEE Main Session 2 result for 2024 should appear on the screen.

  6. Download or print your result for future reference. Keeping a copy for your records is recommended.


In addition to the result, you may also be able to see the cut-off marks and your rank in the examination. Depending on your result and goals, you may need to proceed with counselling, seat allocation, or other admission-related processes.
