If you analyse the JEE Main 2014 (Set - G) paper, you can see that the questions were distributed equally between the Physics, Maths, and Chemistry sections. Most of the questions were asked from the syllabus of the CBSE Class 11th and 12th curriculum. Some of the questions were based on concepts and theory.
