National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT-AP)

NIT Andhra Pradesh was founded in the academic year between 2015-2016 and is included amongst the chain of NITs run under the Government of India. Cutoff Calculation for NIT Andhra Pradesh 2024

The NIT AP cutoff is based on various parameters such as:

Important Dates of JEE Main 2024  

Please note that the NTA has rescheduled JEE Main 2024 dates for session 1 (i.e., January) and session 2 (i.e., April session) exams. The session 1 exam will be held from January 24 to February 1 whereas the session 2 exam will be conducted from April 4 to 12.

NIT AP campus consists of 178 acres with fabulous infrastructure. 


In 2019 the highest placement package was 12 LPA and the overall average package is 5.89 LPA. In 2020 the highest placement package was 16 LPA and the overall average package was 6.54 LPA. In 2021 the highest placement package was offered 32 LPA and the overall average package 6.54 LPA.


It is clear that there is an increasing number of placement opportunities and CTC offerings for students. NIT Andhra has seven boys' and five girls' hostels with a capacity to accommodate about 2,000 students. 

5. What is the Exam Pattern for IIT JEE Mains?

The JEE Main Paper consists of 75 questions for 300 Marks. Where 4 marks is allotted for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Mathematics consists of 25 (20+10) questions, where 10 Questions don't have negative marks. 5 out of 10 questions are compulsory. There are 25 (20+10) questions in Physics where 10 Questions don't have negative marks. 5 out of 10 questions are compulsory.
