The Chemistry portion of the JEE exam consists of 30 questions out of a total of 90. Each question in it will be worth 4 marks for every correct answer but please note that JEE Main exams have negative marking too. Hence, for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.


The JEE Mains 2014 Chemistry paper comprises questions from both Class 11th and 12th. Out of the 30 questions asked in the chemistry part of examination, 15 questions of 60 marks were from class 11 and the remaining 15 questions of 60 marks were picked from the 12 standard syllabus. JEE mains question papers are designed to test the depth of students’ understanding in the particular subject.
