Chemistry 24 January Evening JEE Main 2023 Question Paper Analysis

Students found the Chemistry section to be more on the moderate difficulty level. Some even found it tougher than the other two sections.
This section, as expected, was more NCERT-centric and the questions asked were based on basic Chemistry concepts. Students who had thoroughly studied the NCERT textbook would’ve been able to ace this section, as per the experts.
Inorganic Chemistry comprised the least weightage as compared to Organic and Physical Chemistry.
Physical Chemistry comprised of questions from Chemical Kinetics, Ionic Equilibrium, and Atomic Structure. Organic Chemistry included questions from Amines, Aldehydes & Ketones, and General Organic Chemistry. Inorganic Chemistry was more NCERT based.
