MU OET Counselling 2020

MU OET Counselling 2020 will be initiated and managed by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), formerly known as Manipal University, along with its affiliated institutes. Once the entrance test has been done, and the results of the same are out, the next crucial step for candidates to take admission in the course of their choice is taking part in MU OET counselling.

MU OET is conducted in an online mode (computer-based test). It is a university level entrance exam that includes various courses and programs under its umbrella.

Candidates can get admission into various under-graduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) programs in MAHE and its affiliated institutes. Programs include various specialized courses of engineering, applied sciences, pharmacy, commerce, humanities, and others.

MAHE conducts MU OET on an annual basis. Candidates need to score more than the minimum required qualifying marks successfully in the entrance test to get through MU OET counselling and take admission in their desired courses.

Important Points for Counselling

  • Candidates can participate in MU OET Counselling and seat allotment 2020 only if they qualify for the entrance exam.

  • MAHE will conduct the counselling of MU OET 2020 in both Online as well as Offline mode.

  • In Offline mode, candidates will have to report to the counselling venue for seat allotment.

  • In Online mode, candidates will be required to register and fill their choices for college online, and seats will be allotted to them based on merit.

  • Candidates who will be participating in offline counselling need to be reported to the institute of their choice while candidates who are participating in online counselling do not have to do the same.

  • Candidates who are allotted seats through the counselling will be required to deposit the institute fee to confirm their admission.

  • Total 4 rounds of online and 1 offline round are going to be conducted for MU OET 2020 Counselling and seat allotment. 

  • An additional spot round counselling can also be conducted if seats remain vacant.

  • Candidate’s Aadhaar Card
