Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will announce the results of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2022 on September 15 for both the groups i.e., PCM and PCB. The board will release the Subject wise score card and the MHT CET Exam Result 2022 on its website. Candidates can check their results on the official website using their DOB and application number.   • Log in with your credentials (your password, application number, and or roll number).

  • Look for the link to ‘MHT CET 2023 cut-off’.

Determining Factors for MHT CET 2023 Cut-off

Separate MHT CET 2023 cut-off lists will be prepared for candidates who are from Maharashtra and for candidates from the other states. The first list will comprise the MHT CET 2023 state cut-off and the second list will comprise the All India Cut-off for MHT CET. 

 

The cut-off for MHT CET 2023 will be based on courses, seat availability at the participating colleges, etc. Subsequently, candidates who secure the requisite MHT CET 2023 cut-off will be eligible to participate in the counselling procedure. MHT CET 2023 Merit List

The MHT CET Cell will announce the MHT CET 2023 merit list at the same time as or within a week after the results are released. To see the MHT CET merit list 2023, candidates must log in to the official website using their application ID and DOB. The authorities will initially release the tentative MHT-CET merit list, which will be subject to challenge. After this step, the final Merit list will be released.


Steps to Check MHT-CET 2023 Merit List

Here are the steps that must be followed to check the MHT-CET 2023 Merit List:

  • Visit the official website.

  • Click on 'Check Final Merit List Status' link on the homepage in the official website.

  • A new page will be opened and candidates will be required to enter their Application ID and DOB.

  • Click the "Submit" button.

  • The merit list will be seen on the screen. 


MHT CET 2023 Counselling Procedure 

Besides MHT CET Cutoff 2023, candidates who will be appearing for the exam this year should also familiarise themselves with the MHT CET counselling procedure for 2023. It will be conducted in three steps as given below.

Step 1: Registration - Students need to register themselves for the counselling procedure online by entering the following information: 

  1. Personal details

  2. Academic qualification details

  3. Contact details

 

Step 2: Photograph & Signature Upload - After filling in the above details, candidates will have to upload: 

  • A scanned image of their recent passport size colour photograph of dimensions 3.5cm x 4.5cm. The file size to be uploaded has to be between 4 KB and 100 KB. 

  • A scanned image of their signature of dimensions 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm. The file size to be uploaded has to be between 1 KB and 30 KB.

 

Step 3: Fee Payment - Candidates who have qualified MHT CET 2023 are not required to pay any fee. However, those students who are applying based on their JEE Main scores need to pay the counselling fee. The payment of the counselling fees will also be held online.

Step 4: Document Verification – Candidates need to download and take a print out of the counselling form. They need to furnish it during the document verification process. Other documents that a candidate will need during the document verification are listed below.

  4. Mark sheet of Class 10 & 12

1. What is the mode of examination for MHT CET 2022?

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, also known as the MHT CET will be held in various centres in Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra in an online mode (computer based test). The examination centre will be allotted according to the number of candidates and availability of seats at the centres. 

2. What is the syllabus for MHT- CET 2022?

The question paper will be prepared on the syllabus of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. 20% of class XI syllabus and 80% of the class XII syllabus will come in the examination. The syllabus consists of topics from Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. The level of the difficulty of the papers will be similar to that of JEE Mains for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and NEET for Biology. 3. What is the MHT CET Exam pattern like?

The MHT CET examination is mainly divided into three papers. Students can opt for any three subjects from the total of four subjects. Engineering students may appear for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry papers while the pharmacy students may appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology papers. There will be two sections in the paper in which one will be of Chemistry and Physics while the other section will be of Mathematics/ Biology. The duration of the paper will be 180 minutes, 90 minutes for each section. A total of 150 mcq type questions will be there in the question paper  ( 50 questions for each subject). The Mathematics section will be in English Language while rest of the sections will be in English, Urdu or Marathi language.

4. What will be the marking scheme of questions in the paper?

There will be a total of 150 questions in the MHT- CET. There will be 50 questions from each of the three subjects which the students will opt for. The questions will be in mcq type that is multiple choice questions. Students will select one correct option from the total of four options.  1 mark will be given to each correct response in the Physics and Chemistry section while 2 marks will be awarded for each correct answer in the Mathematics section. No negative marking will be there in any of the sections. The section comprising Physics and Chemistry questions will be active first and the Mathematics section later. This means that the students will not be allowed to switch sections.
