कहानी का सारांशः

• प्रस्तुत कहानी दो बिल्लियों और एक बंदर की है।

• इस कहानी में दो बिल्लियों की आपस में होने वाली लडाई और बंदर की रोटी खा जाने का वर्णन किया गया है l

• कहानी मे एक सफेद बिल्ली और एक काली बिल्ली है ।

• दोनों बिल्लियां बहुत भूखी है और आगे चलकर कुछ देर बाद उन्हें रोटी की गंध आती है I

• मेज पर उन्हें रोटी रखी हुई दिखाई देती है लेकिन सफेद बिल्ली रोटी लेने से डरती हैं Iकाली बिल्ली उस रोटी को ले लेती हैं l

• तभी सफेद बिल्ली कहती है कि तुमने मेरे कहने पर ही वह रोटी उठाई है l काली बिल्ली कहती है कि इस पर मेरा हक है I

• इस प्रकार दोनों में झगड़ा शुरू हो जाता है l

• तभी एक बंदर आता है और उनका न्याय करने के लिए कहता है l

• बंदर सफेद बिल्ली से पूछता है कि तुमने रोटी दोनों आंखों से देखी है या एक आंख से।सफेद बिल्ली कहती है कि उसने दोनों आंखों से रोटी को देखा था I

• अब बंदर काली बिल्ली से पूछता है कि तुम दोनों टांगों से झपटी थी या एक टांग से l

• इसके बाद बंदर अपना तराजू निकालता है और तराजू के दोनो तरफ रोटी के दो टुकड़े करके रख देता है।

• तराजू के एक हिस्से में वजन ज्यादा और दूसरे में कम हो जाता है जिससे बंदर वजन बराबर करने के लिए  रोटी खा जाता है I

• इस प्रकार बंदर बारी बारी से रोटी के दोनों टुकड़ों को पूरा खा जाता है और भाग जाता है l

• अंत में दोनों बिल्लियां पछताती हुई रह जाती हैं।

नैतिक शिक्षा:

इस पाठ से यह शिक्षा मिलती है कि हमें किसी से झगड़ना नहीं चाहिए।
