NSEC 2023-24 - Examination Pattern and Marking Scheme

Part-I

NSE (National Standard Examination)

Duration: 120 minutes

Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions


Also, take note of the following details as well:

  • Exam Timings – 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.

  • Duration of Exam – Two hours.

  • Test Paper Level/ Syllabus – Below CBSE Class 12 syllabus for the Chemistry subject.

  • Test Medium/ Language – English and Hindi (as chosen during the registration process).

  • Type of Questions – Multiple-choice Questions.

  • Total Number of Questions – 60.

  • Total Marks – 216 marks.

  • Scheme of the Marks – 3 marks are awarded for each question and in case of an incorrect attempt, one mark is deducted.

 

NSEC 2023-24 Results 

Students are required to keep an eye on the IAPT’s official website in order to check the NSEC 2023-24 results. Steps to check the results:

  1. Go to the website of IAPT. 

  2. Now fill in:

  • Username

  • Date of Birth as your password, and the format of the Date of Birth will be  DDMMYYYY.

  • The result of the students will be displayed along with their respective grades. 

IAPT will also release the answer keys along with the results. The candidates who pass the IAPT exam will be eligible for the next stage which is National Olympiad Examination.
