The International Mathematics Olympiad exam is conducted with the aim to identify and encourage the mathematical talent of school students across India and abroad as well. 

After the successful conduction of IMO exams, the processing of the IMO result takes about 4-6 weeks time. The IMO result is declared 4-6 weeks after the second date of exam. The results are sent to the concerned schools and are also made available on the official website of SOF - sofworld

IMO results 2020 level 1 are announced online at the official portal at sofworld. A large number of school students participate in the exam across India. Before the announcement of the IMO results 2020 level 1, SOF will publish IMO 2020 cut off marks. If a student qualifies the level 1 exam then they are considered eligible to participate in the level 2 examination. Roll number and olympiad names are required to check results online in which students can see secured marks and the rank. Students from class 3 to 12 will appear in the IMO level 2 test.

IMO Result 2020 will be sent to the respective schools along with the Student Performance Report (SPR).

How to Check IMO Results 2020 Level 1 Result Online?

To check IMO Results 2020 level 1, students can either get it from their respective school with Student Performance Report (SPR) or can check the IMO result through online mode at official portal sofworld by following instructions.

  • Step 1: At very first browse the official website i.e. sofworld.org through browser.

  • Step 2:  On opening the page, click on ‘Read More’ given in the Results column.

  • Step 3: You will be redirected to results.sofworld.org/results and a new page will be loaded.

  • Step 4: In the Result Page students have to select the receptive Olympiad exam here we will select IMO from the drop-down, then enter roll number (Format - Your School Code - Class-Section - RollNo.) 

  • Step 5: Then fill the security question then click the ‘View results’ button.

  • Step 6: IMO Result 2020 level 1 includes section-wise scores and qualifying status will be displayed on your device. Students should make a hardcopy or take print of the IMO level 1 results for other references.

1. What Are the Application Fees of the IMO Exam?

Here we have listed down the details about the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) application fee for the applicants to refer to. 

  • Application fee (Indian Schools)-Rs 125/-

  • The additional fee as Expense of School (Indian School)-Rs 25/-

  • Application fee (International School)-USD 9

  • The additional fee as Expense of School (International School)-USD 9

2. What is the Eligibility Criteria for International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2020 ?

The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2020 Eligibility Criteria are as stated below. 

  • Nationality: The one applying for the IMO should be Indian. 

  • Internationality: Applicants from abroad are also eligible to apply. 

  • Qualification: The applicant from class 1 to 12 are eligible to apply. 

  •  Mathematics is the mandatory subject in which the applicant should have an interest.

  • The applicants who meet the qualification criteria will be eligible to apply for level 1. 

  • The applicant who will qualify the level 1 will only be eligible to apply for level 2.

  • The applicant of class 1 and 2 need not apply for the Level 2 exam as they will be a judge on the basis of their performance in level 1.

3. What is IMO SPR?

The IMO result with the IMO SPR will be provided to the students in their respective schools. It stands for Student Performance Report which is basically a detailed analysis of a student’s performance in the exam. The SPR includes 6 sections. Students may know weak and strong sections so that they can prepare them accordingly for the next exam.

A Section - Personal details, Score and rank secured in City / Zone / School at international level.

B Section - Topic wise analysis.

C Section - The answer key of the Olympiad exam, the answers attempted by the     student and performance comparison of the answers of student vs other students in the Zone and at the international level percentage wise.
