About the Author
Jagdish Chandra Mathur was a dramatist and writer who worked in Hindi. On July 16, 1917, he was born. He grew up in a little village near Khurja. His debut play, Konark, catapulted him to popularity. Phela Raja, Shardiya, Dasrath Nandan, Bhor ka Tara, and Oo mere Sapne are some of his other well-known works.

The author's compositions were written in simple language, yet they depicted characters that had a strong will and mindset.
