Hindi Class 9 CBSE Syllabus

Hindi Class 9 syllabus is divided into two main sections which are Hindi Course A and Hindi Course B. Even though there are many similarities between both marking schemes for each unit, it’s essential to solve the Sample Paper for Class 9 Hindi accordingly. 

Hindi Class 9 CBSE – Exam Pattern

Course A and B, CBSE Class 9th Hindi question paper for final examination consists of 80 marks, covering the entire academic syllabus. The rest of the 20 marks are dedicated to internal assessment that is added for overall grade calculation.

Course A

The Internal Assessment Marks Distribution is as Follows

  1. Periodic tests average – 10 marks

  2. Submission of the notebook – 05 marks

  3. Activities of subject enrichment – 05 marks.

For the External Examination, There Is a Total of 14 Questions With Marks Distribution as Follows:

  1. Section A – Unseen passage – 15 marks

  2. Section B – Grammar – 15 marks

  3. Section C – Literature books – 30 marks

  4. Section D – Writing – 20 marks

Course B

Internal assessment marks distribution for this course is also the same as that of Course A.

As for the external examination, there is a total of 14 questions with marks distribution as follows:

  1. Section A – Unseen passage – 15 marks

  2. Section B – Grammar – 15 marks

  3. Section C – Literature books – 25 marks

  4. Section D – Writing – 25 marks
