उत्तर: वीर कुँवर सिंह के व्यक्तित्व की बहादुरी, साहसी , बुद्धिमान, उदार, चतुर एवं सांप्रदायिक सद्भावना से मैं प्रभावित हूँ।

2. कुँवर सिंह को बचपन में किन कामों में मजा आता था क्या उन्हें उन कामों से स्वतंत्रता सेनानी बनने में कुछ मदद मिली थी? 

उत्तर: कुँवर सिंह को बचपन में कुछ कार्य में बहुत मजा आता था जैसे – घुड़सवारी, तलवारबाजी और कुश्ती लड़ने में। हां, उन्हें इन कामों को करने से स्वतंत्रता सेनानी बनने में बहुत मदद मिली ।

3. सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव में कुँवर सिंह की गहरी आस्था थी पाठ के आधार पर कथन की पुष्टि कीजिए ।

उत्तर: कुँवर सिंह की सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव में गहरी आस्था थी जैसे उनकी सेना में धर्म के आधार पर नहीं बल्कि कार्यकुशलता और वीरता के आधार पर सैनिकों को उच्च पदों पर रखा जाता था, उदाहरण - इब्राहिम खान और किफायत हुसैन । कुँवर सिंह के राज्य में सभी त्यौहार एक साथ मनाए जाते थे और उन्होंने सभी के लिए पाठशाला और मकतबें भी बनवाई हुई थी ।

4. पाठ के किन प्रसंगों से आपको पता चलता है कि कुँवर सिंह साहसी, उदार एवं स्वाभिमानी व्यक्ति थे ?

उत्तर: कुँवर सिंह बचपन से ही साहसी और उनके बचपन के शोक से यह जान पाना बहुत आसान है कि उन्हें उदार मनुष्य कहना उचित होगा क्योंकि उन्होंने सभी के लिए स्कूल, तालाब, रास्ते भी बनवाए और किसी के साथ भेदभाव नहीं किया । वह स्वाभिमानी व्यक्ति थे, वह बूढ़े शूरवीर की अवस्था में भी युद्ध के लिए तत्पर हो गए थे ।

5. आमतौर पर मेले मनोरंजन, खरीद-फरोख्त एवं मेल-जोल के लिए होते हैं लेकिन वीर कुँवर सिंह ने मेले का उपयोग किस रूप में किया ?

उत्तर: मेले मनोरंजन, खरीद-फरोख्त एवं मेलजोल के लिए होते हैं लेकिन वीर कुँवर सिंह ने मेले को अपने गुप्त बैठकों की योजना के लिए चुना था ।

6. सन् 1857 के आंदोलन में भाग लेने वाले किन्हीं चार सेनानियों पर दो-दो वाक्य लिखिए ।

उत्तर: सन् 1857 के आंदोलन में भाग लेने वाले चार सेनानियों के नाम :

क) मंगल पांडे : यह एक सिपाही थे एवं यह बंगाल आर्मी में शामिल थे । एक बार इन्होंने दूसरे सिपाहियों का आत्मबल बढ़ाने के लिए कहा था कि “बाहर आओ अंग्रेज यहां है” ।

ख) नाना साहेब : इन्होंने कानपुर के कलेक्टर चार्ल्ज़ हिल्लेरी का विश्वास जीता था कि वह सिपाहियों को लेकर आएंगे उनकी रक्षा के लिए । लेकिन जब वह अंदर घुसे थे अपने 1500 सिपाहियों के साथ तो इनके खिलाफ आक्रमण बोल दिया था । 

ग) रानी लक्ष्मीबाई : इन्होंने अपने जिंदगी में काफी चुनौतियों का सामना किया और उन्होंने अन्य महिलाओं को भी यह विश्वास दिलवाया कि वह भी वीर हो सकती हैं ।

घ) तात्या टोपे : तात्या टोपे को सन् 1857 जून के महीने के बाद पेशवा घोषित किया गया था । तात्या टोपे ने रानी लक्ष्मीबाई की भी बहुत मदद की थी । 

7. सन् 1857 के क्रांतिकारियों से संबंधित गीत विभिन्न भाषाओं और बोलियों में गाए जाते हैं । ऐसे कुछ गीतों को संकलित कीजिए ।

उत्तर:  सन् 1857 से संबंधित गीत :

क) 1857 की जंग ए आज़ादी का क़ौमी गीत !

हम हैं इसके मालिक , हिन्दुस्तान हमारा ,

पाक वतन है क़ौम का , जन्नत से भी प्यारा ,

ये है हमारी  मिलकियत , हिन्दुस्तान हमारा,

इसकी रूहानियत से रोशन है , जग सारा।

कितनी क़दीम , कितनी नईम , सब दुनिया से न्यारा ,

करती है , जरखेज जिसे , गंग ओ जमुन की धारा ,

ऊपर बर्फीला परवत , पहरेदार हमारा।

नीचे साहिल पर बजता , सागर का नक्कारा।

ख) सन् 1857 के क्रांतिकारियों से संबंधित एक भोजपुरी गीत :

“ अब छोड़ रे फिरंगिया ! हमारा डेस्वा लूटपाट केले तहँ, मजवा उड़ेले कैलस, देस पर जुल्म जोर” । 

8. वीर कुँवर सिंह का पढ़ने के साथ-साथ कुश्ती और घुड़सवारी में अधिक मन लगता था । आपको पढ़ने के अलावा किन किन गतिविधियों या कामों को करने में खूब मजा आता है ? लिखिए । 

उत्तर: वीर कुँवर सिंह का पढ़ने के साथ-साथ कुश्ती और घुड़सवारी में बहुत मन लगता था उसी प्रकार मेरी भी बहुत गतिविधियां है या काम है जिसमें मुझे खूब मजा आता है या मैं उसमें खूब रुचि लेती हूं जैसे: नाचना, बच्चों को ट्यूशन पढ़ाना तथा घर के काम करना या खाना पकाना आदि इन सब गतिविधियों में मुझे खूब आनंद आता है ।

9. सन् 1857 मैं अगर आप 12 वर्ष के होते तो क्या करते कल्पना करके लिखिए । 

उत्तर: मैं अगर सन् 1857 में 12 वर्ष की होती तो उस समय मेरे अंदर बालपन मौजूद होता तो शायद मैं उस आंदोलन में या उस लड़ाई में अपना ज्यादा सहयोग नहीं दे पाती और उस समय के हालात ही ऐसे थे कि बच्चों का कुछ कर पाना मुश्किल था लेकिन अगर उस समय कुछ बच्चों को करने दिया जाता तो शायद मैं इतना ही कर पाती की अपने मां-बाप को सुरक्षित रखने की कोशिश करती और अपने वातावरण अपने आसपास के माहौल को सुरक्षित रखने की कोशिश करती ।

10. अनुमान लगाइए, स्वाधीनता की योजना बनाने के लिए सोनपुर के मेले को क्यों चुना गया होगा ?

उत्तर: स्वाधीनता की योजना बनाने के लिए सोनपुर के मेले को इसलिए चुना गया होगा क्योंकि वहां लोग एकत्रित होकर क्रांति के बारे में योजना बनाते थे और अपने युद्ध की रणनीति तैयार करते थे और वह स्थान काफी खुला हुआ था और काफी बड़ा था इसलिए कुछ करने में वहां आसानी रहती थी । 

11. आप जानते हैं कि किसी शब्द को बहुवचन में प्रयोग करने पर उसकी वर्तनी में बदलाव आता है जैसे – सेनानी एक व्यक्ति के लिए प्रयोग करते हैं और सेनानियों एक से अधिक व्यक्तियों के लिए । सेनानी शब्द की वर्तनी में बदलाव यह हुआ है कि अंत के नी से यह नि हो गई । ऐसे शब्दों को जिनके अंत में दीर्घ ईकार होता है बहुवचन बनाने पर वह इकार हो जाता है,  यदि शब्द के अंत में  हस्व इकार होता है तो उसमें परिवर्तन नहीं होता जैसे दृष्टि से दृष्टियों ।
