1.कवि ने कैसी मृत्यु को सुमृत्यु कहा है ? 

उत्तर : कवि ने ऐसी मृत्यु को सुमृत्यु कहा है जो मानवता की राह में एवं लोक हित कार्यों में परोपकार करते हुए प्राप्त होती है ,जिसके पश्चात भी मनुष्य को संसार में याद रखा जाता है। 

2.उदार व्यक्ति की पहचान कैसे हो सकती है?

उत्तर : उदार व्यक्ति अपने संस्कारों से परोपकारी होता है,जो कभी स्वप्न में को कोई गलत कम नहीं करता है और सभी से शांत चित होकर प्रेम से बात करता है। वह अपना जीवन समाज के दुखों को दूर करने में एवं दीनों का भला करने में लगा देता है। उदारता के स्वभाव वाला इंसान कभी किसी से भेदभाव नहीं रखता और सभी को एक बराबर समझता है। उदार व्यक्ति इस बात को भली - भांति जानता है कि वह यदि समाज का भला करेगा तो उसका भी भला हो जाएगा। 

3.कवि ने दधीचि कर्ण, आदि महान व्यक्तियों का उदाहरण देकर मनुष्यता के लिए क्या संदेश दिया है ?

उत्तर : कवि ने दधीचि, कर्ण आदि महान व्यक्तियों का उदाहरण देकर मनुष्यता के लिए यह बताने का प्रयास किया है कि परोपकार के लिए अपना सर्वस्व, यहाँ तक की अपने प्राण तक न्यौछावर करने को तैयार रहना चाहिए। यहाँ तक की दूसरों के हित के लिए अपने शरीर तक दान करने को तैयार रहना चाहिए। दधीचि ने मानवता की रक्षा के लिए अपनी अस्थियाँ एवं दानवीर कर्ण ने अपने कवच एवं कुंडल तक दान कर दिये। हमारा शरीर तो नश्वर हैं,उससे मोह रखना व्यर्थ है। परोपकार करना ही सच्ची मनुष्यता है और हमें यही करना चाहिए।

4. कवि ने किन पंक्तियों में यह व्यक्त है कि हमें अहंकार रहित जीवन व्यतीत करना चाहिए? 

उत्तर: निम्नलिखित पंक्तियों में अहंकार रहित जीवन व्यतीत करने की बात कही गई है-

रहो न भूल के कभी, मदांध तुच्छ वित्त में।

सनाथ जान आपको, करो न गर्व चित्त में ॥ 

5. मनुष्य मात्र बंधु है' से आप क्या समझते हैं? स्पष्ट कीजिए। 

उत्तर: मनुष्य मात्र बंधु है ! इस बात से अर्थ है कि सभी मनुष्य आपस में भाई बंधु होते हैं क्योंकि सभी का पिता मात्र एक ईश्वर है। इसलिए सभी को प्रेम भाव से रहना चाहिए एवं एक दूसरे की स्वार्थ रहित होकर सहायता करनी चाहिए। इस धरती में कोई पराया नहीं है, सभी एक दूसरे के काम आएँ । 

6. कवि ने सबको एक होकर चलने की प्रेरणा क्यों दी है? 

उत्तर: कवि ने सबको एक साथ चलने की प्रेरणा इसलिए दी है क्योंकि सभी मनुष्य उस एक ही परमपिता परमेश्वर की संतान हैं इसलिए बंधुत्व के नाते हमें सभी को साथ लेकर चलना चाहिए क्योंकि समर्थ भाव भी यही है कि हम सबका कल्याण करते हुए अपना कल्याण करें। 

7. व्यक्ति को किस प्रकार का जीवन व्यतीत करना चाहिए? इस कविता के आधार पर लिखिए। 

उत्तर : व्यक्ति को परोपकार करके अपना जीवन व्यतीत करना चाहिए। साथ ही कठिन मार्ग पर एकता के साथ बढ़ना चाहिए। इस दौरान जो भी विपत्तियाँ आएँ, उन्हें मार्ग से हटाते हुए आगे बढ़ते जाना चाहिए। उदार हृदय बनकर अहंकार रहित मानवतावादी जीवन व्यतीत करना चाहिए। 

8.मनुष्यता कविता के माध्यम से कवि क्या संदेश देना चाहता है ? 

उत्तर : 'मनुष्यता' कविता के माध्यम से कवि यह संदेश देना चाहता है कि हमें अपना पूरा जीवन परोपकार में व्यतीत करना चाहिए। सच्चा मनुष्य दूसरों की भलाई के काम को सर्वोपरि मानता है। हमें मनुष्य- मनुष्य के बीच कोई अंतर नहीं करना चाहिए। हमें अपना हृदय उदार बनाना चाहिए। हमें धन के नशे  में अंधा नहीं बनना चाहिए। मानवता के धर्म को अपनाना चाहिए।

(ख) निम्नलिखित का भाव स्पष्ट कीजिए |

1.सहानुभूति चाहिए, महाविभूति है यही

वशीकृता सदैव है बनी हुई स्वयं मही। 

विरुद्धवाद बुद्ध का दया प्रवाह में बहा,

विनीत लोकवर्ग क्या न सामने झुका रहा?

उत्तर : इन पंक्तियों के द्वारा कवि ने एक-दूसरे के प्रति सहानुभूति की भावना को प्रकट किया है। इससे बढ़कर कोई अन्य धन नहीं है। यदि प्रेम, सहानुभूति, करुणा के भाव हो तो वह सारे संसार को जीत सकता है। वह सारे जगत में सम्मानित भी रहता है। महात्मा बुद्ध के विचारों का भी विरोध हुआ था परन्तु जब बुद्ध ने अपनी करुणा, प्रेम व दया का प्रवाह किया तो उनके सामने सब नतमस्तक हो गए। 

2. रहो न भूल के कभी मदांध तुच्छ वित्त में, 

सनाथ जान आपको करो न गर्व चित्त में। 

अनाथ कौन है यहाँ? त्रिलोकनाथ साथ हैं, 

दयालु दीनबंधु के बड़े विशाल हाथ हैं। 

उत्तर : कवि कहता है कि कभी भूलकर भी अपने थोड़े से धन के अहंकार में अंधे होकर स्वयं को सनाथ अर्थात् सक्षम मानकर अहंकार मत करो क्योंकि संसार में  अनाथ तो कोई नहीं है। इस संसार का स्वामी ईश्वर है जो सबके साथ है और ईश्वर तो दयालु दीनों और असहायों का सहारा है और उनके हाथ बहुत विशाल है अर्थात् वह सबकी सहायता करने में सक्षम है। प्रभु के रहते हुये भी जो व्याकुल रहता है वह बहुत ही भाग्यहीन है। सच्चा मनुष्य वह है जो दूसरे मनुष्य संग सत्कर्मों के लिए मरता है। 

3. चलो अभीष्ट मार्ग में सहर्ष खेलते हुए, 

विपत्ति, विघ्न जो पड़ें उन्हें ढकेलते हुए। 

घटे न हेलमेल हाँ, बढ़े न भिन्नता कभी, 

अतर्क एक पंथ के सतर्क पंथ हों सभी।

उत्तर : कवि कहता है कि अपने इच्छित मार्ग पर प्रसन्नतापूर्वक हंसते-खेलते चलो और रास्ते पर जो कठिनाई या बाधा पड़े उन्हें हटाते हुए आगे बढ़ जाओ। लेकिन यह ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि हमारा आपसी तालमेल न कम हो और हमारे बीच भेदभाव न बढ़े। हम तर्क रहित होकर एक मार्ग पर सावधानीपूर्वक चलें और एक-दूसरे पर परोपकार करते हुए अर्थात् उद्धार करते हुए आगे बढ़े तभी हमारी समर्थता सिद्ध होगी अर्थात् हम तभी समर्थ माने जाएंगे।  जब हम केवल अपनी ही नहीं समस्त समाज की भी उन्नति करेंगे। सच्चा मनुष्य वही है जो दूसरों के लिए मरता है।
