1. मीठी वाणी बोलने से औरों को सुख और अपने तन को शीतलता कैसे प्राप्त होती है?

उत्तर: मीठी वाणी बोलने से औरों को सुख और अपने तन को शीतलता इस प्रकार प्राप्त हो सकती है जब  भी कोई व्यक्ति मीठे वचन बोलता है तो श्रोता के मन से क्रोध और घृणा के भाव नष्ट हो जाते हैं।जब आप दूसरों के साथ मीठी भाषा का उपयोग करोगे तो उन्हें आपसे कोई शिकायत नहीं रहेगी। वे सुख का अनुभव करेंगे और जब आपका मन शुद्ध और साफ़ होगा  तो इसके परिणामस्वरूप आपका तन भी शीतल रहेगा।

2. दीपक दिखाई देने पर अँधियारा कैसे मिट जाता है? साखी के संदर्भ में स्पष्ट कीजिए।

उत्तर: यहाँ दीपक का तात्पर्य  ‘भक्तिरूपी ज्ञान’ तथा अंधियारे  का तात्पर्य ‘अज्ञानता’ से है। यहाँ ईश्वर को ही सर्वोच्च ज्ञान कहा गया है ।जिस प्रकार दीपक के जलने  से  चारों ओर का  अन्धकार समाप्त हो जाता है और सब जगह प्रकाश फैल जाता है ठीक उसी प्रकार जब भक्तिरूपी ज्ञान का प्रकाश हृदय में प्रज़ज्वलित है तब मन के सारे विकार अर्थात भ्रम, संशय का सर्वनाश हो जाता है और उसी को हम  सर्वोच्च मानना आरंभ कर देते हैं।

3. ईश्वर कण कण में व्याप्त है, पर हम उसे क्यों नहीं देख पाते?

उत्तर: ईश्वर को न  देख पाने का केवल एक ही कारण है और वह कारण केवल हमारा मन है ।ईश्वर की चेतना से ही यह संसार दिखाई देता है। चारों ओर ईश्वरीय चेतना के अलावा और कुछ भी नहीं है, लेकिन यह सब कुछ हम इन भौतिक आँखों से नहीं देख सकते।हमारा मन अज्ञानता, अहंकार, विलासिताओं में डूबा है इसलिए हम ईश्वर को अपने मन में न ढूंढ़कर  मंदिर, मस्जिदों और गिरिजाघरों में ढूंढ़ते हैं । जबकि वह तो  सब ओर ही समाहित है जिसे नग्न नयनों से देख पाना असंभव है |

4. संसार में सुखी व्यक्ति कौन है और दुखी कौन? यहाँ सोना और जागना किसके प्रतीक हैं? इसका प्रयोग यहाँ क्यों किया गया है? स्पष्ट कीजिए।

उत्तर: कवि के अनुसार संसार में वो लोग सुखी हैं, जो संसार में व्याप्त सुख-सुविधाओं का भोग करने में मगन हैं और दुखी वे हैं, जिन्हें ईश्वर से सम्बंधित भक्तिरूपी ज्ञान की प्राप्ति हो गई है इसलिए यहाँ पर ‘सोना' शब्द ‘अज्ञानता’ का प्रतीक है और 'जागना' ज्ञान का प्रतीक है।  इसका प्रयोग यहाँ इसलिए हुआ है क्योंकि कुछ लोग अपने अज्ञान के कारण बेचिंतित होकर सांसारिक सुखों में खोए रहते हैं, जीवन के भौतिक सुखों में लीन रहते हैं इसलिए वे सोए हुए हैं|  जो सांसारिक सुखों को व्यर्थ समझते हैं अपने को ईश्वर के प्रति समर्पित करते हैं  और ईश्वर को पाने की आशा में सोते हुए भी जग रहे हैं।वे ही जागते हैं। वे संसार को इस बुरी स्थिति से मुक्ति दिलाने  के लिए चिंतित रहते हैं।

5. अपने स्वभाव को निर्मल रखने के लिए कबीर ने क्या उपाय सुझाया है?

उत्तर: अपने स्वभाव को निर्मल रखने के लिए कबीर ने यह उपाय सुझाया है कि हमें हमेशा अपने आस-पास ऐसे लोगों को रखना चाहिए जो यह बताएँ कि हम कहाँ पर सही हैं और कहाँ पर गलत | इससे हमे खुद को जानने का मौका मिलता है साथ ही हम नई चीजों को भी अपने व्यवहार में शामिल कर पाते हैं|

6. ' ऐके अधिर पीव का पढ़े सु पंडित होई ' इस पंक्ति द्वारा कवि क्या कहना चाहता है?

उत्तर: प्रस्तुत  पंक्तियों द्वारा कवि ने ईश्वर प्रेम के महत्व  को दर्शाने का प्रयास किया  है कि  ईश्वर को पाने का केवल एक ही मार्ग है  -ईश्वर प्रेम का एक अक्षर  यानि ईश्वर को पढ़ लेना ही पर्याप्त है। ईश्वर के नाम के जापमात्र से ही कोई भी व्यक्ति सच्चा ज्ञानी बन सकता है न कि बड़े - बड़े पोथी और ग्रंथों के पढ़ने से।

7. कबीर की उदधृत साखियों की भाषा की विशेषता स्पष्ट कीजिए।

उत्तर: कबीर ने अपनी साखियों के लिए सधुक्कड़ी भाषा का प्रयोग किया है। उद्धृत साखिओं की भाषा की विशेषता यह है कि इसमें भावना की अनुभूति ,रहस्यवादिता तथा जीवन का संवेदनशील संस्पर्श तथा सहजता को विशेष स्थान दिया गया है।इनकी भाषा मिलीजुली होती  है। इनकी साखियाँ संदेश देने वाली होती हैं। वे जैसा बोलते थे वैसा ही लिखते भी है जो कि स्पष्ट रूप से देखा भी जा सकता है।  इनमें लोकभाषा का भी प्रयोग भी हुआ है  जैसे :- खाये, नेग मुवा, जाल्या, आँगणि आदि भाषा में लयबद्धता उपदेशात्मकता, प्रवाह, सहजता, सरलता शैली है।

(ख) भाव स्पष्ट कीजिए

1. बिरह भुवंगम तन बसे. मंत्र न लागे कोइ ।

उत्तर: इस पंक्ति का भाव यह है कि जब किसी भी  व्यक्ति के हृदय में ईश्वर के प्रति प्रेम रुपी विरह का सर्प बस जाता है तो . उस पर कोई दवा या  मंत्र असर नहीं करता है। यानि भगवान से बिछड़ने के गम  में कोई भी जीव सामान्य नहीं रहता है फिर उसे कोई भी बात प्रभावित नहीं कर पाती इसलिए ईश्वर की प्राप्ति ही इसका एकमात्र समाधान  है।

2. कस्तूरी कुंडलि बसे, मृग हुँदै बन माँहि ।

उत्तर: इस पंक्ति में कबीर कहते हैं कि भगवान हमारे शरीर में ही वास करते हैं लेकिन जिस प्रकार हिरण अपनी नाभि से आती खुशबू से प्रभावित रहता है परन्तु वह यह नहीं जानता कि यह खुशबू कहीं और से नहीं बल्कि  उसकी नाभि में से आ रही है। वह उसे भिन्न-भिन्न स्थानों पर खोजने का प्रयास करता है ठीक उसी प्रकार अज्ञानी भी वास्तविकता से अनजान रहता है। वे ईश्वर को प्राप्त करने के लिए विभिन्न धार्मिक अनुष्ठानों में मगन  रहता है। वह आत्मा में विद्यमान ईश्वर की सर्वोच्च शक्ति को  पहचान नहीं पाता।

3. जब में था तब हरि नहीं, अब हरि है में नाँहि ।

उत्तर: प्रस्तुत पंक्ति द्वारा कबीर का कहना है कि ईश्वर और अंहकार दोनों एक -दूसरे के विपरीत है जब तक मनुष्य में अज्ञान रूपी अंधकार छाया है वह कितना भी प्रयास कर ले कभी भी  ईश्वर को प्राप्त नहीं कर सकता  अर्थात अहंकार और ईश्वर का साथ-साथ रहना नामुमकिन है इसलिए ईश्वर को पाने के लिए उसके प्रति पूर्ण समर्पण आवश्यक है  जब व्यक्ति ईश्वर की प्राप्ति कर लेता है तो  अहंकार स्वयं ही उस व्यक्ति से दूर चला जाता है।

4. पोथी पदि पढ़ि जग मुवा, पंडित भया न कोई।

उत्तर: इस पंक्ति के माध्यम से कबीर कहना चाहते हैं कि प्रेम में बहुत शक्ति होती है। बड़े -  बड़े ग्रंथ, शास्त्र और पोथी पढ़ने भर से या  किताबी ज्ञान हासिल  करने से ही कोई ज्ञानी या पंडित नहीं बन जाता कि उसे  ईश्वर की प्राप्ति हो जाए बल्कि  प्रेमपूर्वक परमात्मा को याद करने से ही उसे प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

Cynicism proves helpful in adopting virtues by removing evils. Listening to the criticism of the slanderer helps in introspection and conduct pure and pure.
