Hint: A homogeneous mixture is a type of mixture in which the particles are dispersed uniformly. There is no area of separation present between the liquid and the particles mixed.

Complete Step by Step Solution:
The homogeneous mixtures are also called as a solution. It consists of two components namely a solute and a solvent. The solvent acts as a medium in which the solute is dissolved. The solute particles are dispersed evenly in the solvent and there is no separation present.

A homogeneous mixture is uniform in nature which means that the solution or a homogeneous mixture will have the same consistency throughout the mixture and the particles are distributed uniformly. However, there are few exceptions present in homogeneous mixtures such as single-phase alloys and colloidal suspensions. There is always a single phase of matter that is observed in the homogeneous mixture at a single time. A few common examples of homogeneous mixtures are air, rainwater, vinegar, sugar water, etc.

The components of a homogenous mixture cannot be picked out or can be separated by simple mechanical methods. Homogeneous mixtures can be found everywhere from naturally occurring things like a stone to artificially created substances such as plastics.

Note: It is also possible that a mixture might initially start as a heterogeneous mixture and gradually turn into a homogeneous mixture. There are always two or more different phases that can be observed in a heterogeneous mixture and the samples collected from different regions of the mixture will give different results.
