The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is basically the chief executive of Government of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Constitution of India, the executive authority rests with the chief minister. Uttar Pradesh is the most populous and fourth-largest state, located in central India. Like any other state, Uttar Pradesh has governing officials such as the state chief minister to ensure its smooth management. We need to have knowledge about the up cm list. 1. Who is the first chief minister of up?

According to historical records of the UP CM list, if one were to ask who was the first chief minister of Uttar Pradesh when Uttar Pradesh was newly reformed, it is none other than Govind Vallabh pant, under the premier of united provinces, who was given the rank of the first cm of up on the 26th days of January 1950. 

2. What is the chief minister list according to the premier of united provinces (1927 to 1950)?

According to the premier of united provinces, UP CM list is stated below:

  1. The nawab of chhatri ruled independently under sir harry graham Haig; for 104 days (3rd April 1937 to 16th July 1937).

  2. Sir Govind Vallabh pant who is officially regarded as the first CM of UP was a member of the Indian national congress and ruled under sir harry graham's Haig; for 838 days (17th July 1937 to 2nd November 1939).

  3. From 3rd November 1939 to 31st March 1946 up was ruled by the governor himself.

  4. Sir Govind Ballabh Pants resumed his position as the chief minister as a member of the Indian national congress for 3 years and 299 days (1st April to 25th January) as per the official records of the UP chief minister list; under the governance of Sir Francis Verner Wylie.
