  • You will be taken to the login page

  • Put your mail id and password

  • You will get your result on the computer screen

  • Download the result and don’t forget to take a printout

Marking Schemes for TANCET 2022

Questions are based on 100 marks, and you will get +1 for every correct answer. However, for each wrong answer, -1 marks will be deducted. You will also be awarded negative marks for choosing multiple answers for a single question. 

What are normalization marks for TANCET?

Normal of marks are only done for ME/MTech/M.Arch/M.Plan programs. Here the questions paper is divided into 3 parts. 

  1. Part 1 – Engineering Mathematics

  2. Part 2 – Basic Engineering and Sciences

  3. Part III – Choice by the candidate

The formula for arriving at the normalization marks is 

N=40+(10/s) X (R-M)

Where N= Normalised marks

S= Standard Deviation

R= Raw marks

M= Mean marks

 

How to Obtain a Duplicate mark sheet?

If you have lost or misplaced your mark sheet, you can request one in writing. Write an application to the Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai, and attach a demand draft of Rs 100. 

 

Difference between the TANCET mark sheet and the result?

There is a basic difference between TANCET Result and mark sheet. You will be notified of the actual marks and scores when the final results are declared. However, mark sheets show only the percentages and avoid negative marking.

Yes, the fees can be paid offline by visiting any of the regional offices. You need to takeout the application form and fill it up. Then take it to your nearest center and enclose a demand draft from remitting the fees.
