TANCET is the abbreviation for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test organized under Anna University for the Government of Tamil Nadu. TANCET is an entrance test for getting admission to ME/MTech/M.Arch/M.Plan, MCA & MBA programs.

Click on New Registration
Enter necessary details like DOB, Gender, Email Id and phone number
Click on Register
You will be registered with OTP based SMS.
Next step is to create your user id and password and then fill out the form:
Re-login with your new id and password
Read the instructions carefully before proceeding.
Fill out the details like Marks, DOB, Gender, Nationality, Choice of the center, etc.
Go to the upload section and:
Upload the scanned image by clicking on the select file menu
The image should be in JPEG format
Click on the preview button
Accept and Proceed to Payment

Select your course

You can remit the required fees using Net Banking, BHIM UPI, Credit/Debit card, etc
Note down your registration number and take a printout for future reference.
You should note down a few details for filling out the application form. If you make a mistake, your application might be rejected.

1. Is the TANCET Exam Easy?

2. Can Persons Outside Tamil Nadu Apply for TANCET?
There are two language options for appearing in TANCET. While filling out the TANCET application form, keep this in mind. The two languages are Tamil and English. So, there is no restriction on filling out the application form from outside Tamil Nadu.
3. Is TANCET Compulsory for MBA Aspirants?
TANCET is not a mandatory requirement for MBA. There are other entrance examinations you can take to gain admission to MBA courses. However, the Tamil Nadu government encourages the TANCET exam, and most management colleges accept TANCET scores.
4. How Many Papers Does TANCET Offer?
There are overall 23 papers, and candidates can select from them. However, there are divisions according to your choice, so your selection would automatically narrow down.
