Eligibility Criteria for PESSAT 2020




Acquisition of 60% marks in 10+2 / equivalent exam in Science from a recognised board 


Acquisition of 60% marks in 10+2 / equivalent exam in any stream from a recognized board


Must get a 50% marks in 10+2 / equivalent exam in Science stream from a recognised board


10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/ State Governments with an aggregate of 50% marks.


International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with more than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in the examination.


10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board


BE/BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, and Information Technology and other relevant or equivalent subjects.

M.Com./ M.Sc. Applied Economics

B.Com. degree from a recognised university

BBA LLB (Hons)

10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board


At least 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University or MAT Composite Score above 500 / CAT Score above 50th percentile / GMAT Score above 450 for direct admission.

B Tech Double Specialization/B Tech+ M Tech

60% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream from a recognised board

A: Nothing much can be done if you or anyone else does not meet the given eligibility criteria. In such cases, you have to wait for the next year or seek admission in some other course without wasting a year.
