Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a national scholarship program for students interested in science research. Students must go through the KVPY Selection Process after completing the KVPY registration to be considered for the scholarships. There will be two stages to the selection process: an aptitude test and an interview. To be eligible for the KVPY scholarships, one must pass both. The aptitude test must be taken first, followed by an interview to be considered for the scholarships under the KVPY Selection Procedure. The aptitude test is held in several cities across the country. The question paper will be written in both English and Hindi.

 

KVPY Aptitude Test For Stream Selection

The Aptitude Test is separated into two parts, i.e. Part 1 and Part 2, with four sections in each. Aspirants will have to attempt any three sections of Part 1 and any other sections of Part 2. Thus, students must be thorough with their strong subjects to crack the KVPY selection procedure

  • KVPY Registration Form: You must carry a copy of the online KVPY Registration form duly filled out by you. You can download the application form from the official website through your ID and Password.

  • KVPY Hall Ticket: Don't forget to carry the KVPY admit card and the application form.

  • Original Mark Sheets: Applicants must carry all original documents related to class 10 and class 12 scores. Also, carry the xerox copy of the documents along with you. All these documents are essential for verification.

  • Caste & Medical Certificate: You must also have a valid Caste and Medical certificate. Also, you must have a valid medical certificate during the KVPY Interview process.

  • Self-Appraisal Form: A self-appraisal form will be required stating why you deserve the KVPY scholarship.

  • Study Certificate Form: Candidates must collect the Study Certificate Form from the Principal or Head of the Institution where they are pursuing their current courses.

  • And finally, a teacher's recommendation form is required to sit for the KVPY 2022 Interview Process.

Important Documents To Carry To KVPY Exam Centre

Once the aspirants are selected from the aptitude test, they must appear for the Interview round. It is the last round of the KVPY selection process. During the time of the interview, the candidates have to bring the following documents to the exam centre:

  • Interview call letter and application form.

  • 10th Marks Card for Stream SA/SX and 12th Marksheet for Stream SB with attested copy of Marks Card.

  • The Competent Authority issues a Caste Certificate to SC/ST aspirants.

  • In the case of visually and physically challenged students, the candidates must carry a medical certificate from the competent authority in the prescribed format described by the GOI.

  • Study certificate form (to be obtained from the Principal/Head of the Institution where you are currently pursuing your education).

  • Teacher Recommendation Form.

1. What is the KVPY scholarship amount?

The KVPY fellows receive Rs. 5000 monthly fellowship from 1st to 3rd year of B.Sc/ B. After three years, the fellowship is enhanced to Rs. 7000 per month. During the 4th and 5th years of Integrated M.S./M.Sc an annual contingency grant of Rs. 20,000 and 28,000 is paid.
