KCET Counselling 2019 - Check Schedule & Procedure

KEA is likely to conduct the KCET counselling 2019 in the month of June 2019 for admission to B. Tech programmes offered by various KCET participating institutes in Karnataka. The counselling will be done for all the selected candidates in the exam and only those who participate in it will be eligible for seat allotment available for admission. In the first step, candidates need to verify all the important documents at various centres and fill their preferred choices of colleges and courses.

The allotment will be done according to a candidate’s rank preferences and availability of seats. There will be a mock allotment also which will be conducted to make the candidates well-versed with about the allotment process of KCET. KCET Counselling Procedure 2019

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will start the counselling of KCET 2019 tentatively in the second week of June. Candidates need to go through KCET 2019 counselling process in both online and offline mode. Candidates will have to follow the following steps for admissions into the participating institutes:

  • • Documents Verification and Registration
  • • Filling and Locking of Choices
  • • Seat Allotment
  • • Reporting at Allotted Institutes

Verification of Documents and Registration

First and foremost, all the eligible candidates will have to verify their documents at the counselling centres. According to the released schedule, candidates will have to report at the centre and produce their documents. A verification slip will be given to the candidates after the successful verification along with a unique ID and password.

  • • Application Fee Payment Proof
  • • KCET 2019 Admit Card
  • • SSLC/10th Standard Marks Card
  • • 2nd PUC/12th Standard Marks Card
  • • Study Certificate Counter signed by the concerned BEO/DDPI
  • • Two recent passport size photographs
  • • Any other applicable document

Filling in the Preferred Choices

After getting verified successfully, candidates will have to fill their preferred colleges and course. The choice filling will be available after the candidates login into their account using CET number.
Seat Allotment.

The mock allotment of KCET 2019 will be conducted tentatively in the third week of July by the authorities to make the candidate familiar with the process of allotment. The filled choices can be modified after the mock seat allotment. KEA will be announcing the KCET 2019 seat allotment tentatively in the third week of July. Allotment will be done according to the candidate’s KCET 2019 rank, preferences, category and availability of seat.


Confirming the Admission at Allotted Institutes

In the final step, all the selected candidates will have to visit their allotted institute to confirm their admission. They will have to produce all the required documents along with the allotment letter in the institute. Payment of the required fee also must be done to confirm the allotment.
