JEECUP Result 2020

The JEECUP is a state-level entrance exam, for which hundreds of thousands of students write every year, as a base entrance to any polytechnic institute in Uttar Pradesh. This exam is organised by the joint entrance council, Uttar Pradesh. The JEECUP result 2020 will be declared online after the exams have been conducted on the 19th and 25th of July. 

Result Highlights

Candidates can check their results online as to how much they have scored in this entrance and their counselling status as well. No hard copy of the results is given, candidates will be given a choice between 1296 institutions and 67 courses approximately. The main website will give all the necessary information along with the results corrected based on the answer key. The result is further used for allotting ranks to the candidate. It will show a qualifying status of counselling and state whether the candidate is eligible to appear for counselling or not.

The result is generally computed by the formula provided below where each correct answer has a weightage of 4 marks, and each incorrect one deducts 1 mark. 

JEECUP  Result = (number of correct answers x 4) - (number of incorrect answers x 1)

Steps To Check JEECUP Results

This can be checked with the answer key, which is published shortly after the exam has been conducted.

Once the results are released there are a few steps which have to be followed to receive one’s results

Step 1:  is to get on the official page and click on the results link. 

Step 2: is to log in by entering the provided roll number on the admit card along with the date of birth.

Step 3: you get access to your results as well as your rank, which you can further move on to wait for the counselling schedule, to pick your course as well as college preference.

The result or scorecard of the JEECUP 2020 exam will carry details such as,

 After the exam has been held, the answer key is released after which the result is declared, and finally, the counselling and seat allotment list and dates are put out online. 

The JEECUP 2020 results will be released on a further notified date. Mostly the date will fall in the month of August 2020, all going as per plan. 

Rules of Reevaluation and Rechecking 

  • The candidate needs to apply for rechecking within 5 days of the release of the result.

  • The link for this is available on the official site, and the candidate who requires this can go further by clicking on it. 

  • There is a fee for each subject for rechecking and reevaluation; it is different for both.

  • This is allowed only for theory papers.

  • Once the paper is rechecked or reevaluated, the candidate has no say in the final marks that are given by the examiner. The score after this is treated as the final attained score, and a scorecard or result is produced.
