The JEECUP exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh board of technical education (UPBTE) for those who aspire to study Polytechnic courses in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The eligible candidates can make corrections to their submitted details on the application form on 20th May 2022.
The previously given dates have been further revised in order for the successful functioning of this exam and to ensure the safety and well-being of all the appearing candidates. 1. Who can appear for the JEECUP 2020 examination?
Candidates who are 14 years old or above as, on July 1st, 2020, can apply. People of any cast or community can appear as there are reservations for the same. Only the candidates who are a state domicile of Uttar Pradesh or have a certificate of schooling of the same are eligible to even apply and appear for this examination. There is, however, no upper age limit prescribed by the examination board, and even students appearing for their class 12 examinations can apply and appear for the same. One can apply simply by filling up the details and attaching the required files online for this exam.
2. How many groups are existent and which group is pursued to take up which kind of course?
There are two main groups known as, group A and group B. Group A is for an engineering polytechnic diploma, whereas Group B consists of several other diploma courses. Even in the exam dates given above, we understand that there are different sets of exams, and the candidate can apply accordingly as to which paper or papers he/she would like to appear for. There are also other groups of exams one can write as well. One can appear for multiple exams as well but will need to fill applications accordingly and submit them with correct data.
3. Where will these exams be held?
The JEECUP 2020 examinations will be held in all districts of Uttar Pradesh, but there may be cases where a nearby district will be allotted to the candidate. Generally, candidates can select their district or the one they wish to write in a while filling out the application. The allotment of centers is done once the preference and availability of the centers are checked. Once allotted, no change in the center will be accepted or entertained. The centers are generally allotted as per the convenience of the candidate, and in very rare cases, will there be a discrepancy in that.
