Know About BVP CET Eligibility Criteria

BVP CET 2022 will be held for three hours and each question will carry one mark. The application form of BVP CET 2022 for BTech courses has also been released. The last date to apply for BVP CET is 15th June 2022 - Phase 1 and 30th June 2022 - Phase 2 for B. Tech courses. The BVP CET exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode in the 58 test centres.


Students must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the examination in order to avoid rejection of BVP CET Application Form. Students with the duly filled application form will be able to download the BVP CET admit card through the official website only. The aspirants qualifying for this exam will be called for the further process of counselling. 


BVP CET Eligibility Criteria 2022

Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria of BVP CET 2022 to apply for the exam in order to avoid the cancellation of their candidature or the application. The eligibility criteria for BVP CET will also involve educational qualification and minimum marks that the students need to have secured for the admission. Find the details below for the BVP CET eligibility criteria:

  1. The student should pass Higher senior secondary or Indian School Certificate Examination or any other equivalent examination with 10 + 2 from any of the recognized boards.

  2. The aspirant must have studied physics, mathematics, and chemistry or biotechnology or biology or technical vocational studies in the 10+2 examination.

  3. Students who have passed a diploma in engineering and technology from AICTE  institution approved over a 50 % aggregate for general and 45 % aggregate for SC/ST/Persons with Disability are eligible to apply. 

  4. The minimum marks required in 10 +2 for each category which are as follows:

Note:

  1. Applicants who have appeared or appearing in the final examination of HSC and results have not been announced are also eligible to apply for this exam but, provided they have to meet the other eligibility conditions mentioned by the board.

  2. The seats which are vacant after the counselling process will be made available to the candidates who are Eligible with state score/ organized examination by the central government.
