BITSAT Exam Centres for 2020

BITSAT Test Centres have already been declared by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science on January 11. The application form and information brochure are available on the website of BITSAT. Candidates will have to fill choices of the BITSAT Centre while filling out the application form. After submitting the application form, students will be required to book a slot after the BITSAT Centre Allotment exercise. This test is conducted for admission in various undergraduate engineering courses in BITS Pilani.


Important Information About BITSAT and BITSAT Exam Centres 2020

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is an entrance exam conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science on a national level. Qualified candidates will be called for admission into various B. Pharm, B.E and M.Sc. programmes. BITS offers these programmes and they have campuses in Goa, Hyderabad and Pilani. 


If you are an aspirant then you will have to fill choices of three exam centres when you are filling out the form. Candidates will have to book a slot in their allotted BITSAT Test Centres. You will also have to select a date of the examination. You will see the full list of the test centres and slot timing, you will have to select the test centre and exam date and time to confirm your slot. After successfully completing the slot booking, candidates will get an admit card for their BITSAT 2020 Exam Centres. 


Candidates are advised to download the admit card of BITSAT 2020 from the BITS admission portal. If you are an applicant then you will have to book a slot within specified dates for appearing in the exam. Without booking a slot, no one will be able to download the admit card. You will have to open the admission portal and click on the BITSAT 2020 link and login using your application number and password. If you want to book a slot then you will have to click on the book slot tab and select the exam centre, date and time. After selecting the test centre, you have to verify all the details to book the slot and click on the confirm button.


Similarly, when you are going to download the admit card, you will have to log in with your application number and password on the portal and click on the Admit Card menu. When the Admit Card will be displayed, verify all the details included in the admit card and download the admit card. After downloading the admit card, take at least two print out of the Admit Card and keep it safe because without a valid admit card, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. 

BITSAT Exam Centres 2020- Some Other Key Things to Remember

All the candidates must book a slot and those candidates who fail to book a slot will not be allowed to appear in the exam. Once the slot booking is confirmed then candidates will not get the option to change their test centres and slot at any cost. If there are less number of candidates appearing in the examination then the examination conducting authority can cancel that BITSAT Centre and they will allot any nearest test centre to all the candidates. 


If you are preparing for the examination then you will have to fill up the application form carefully and you will have to be updated with the important dates. The application is now available on the official website of BITSAT, it was released on January 11, 2020, as mentioned earlier. The last date of application form submission is March 31, 2020. If you find any kind of mistakes in the application form then you will have to go for the correction before April 6. BITSAT Centre Allotment will be available on 9th April 2020. You will have to book a slot and a test date from 10th April to 18th April. You will be able to download the Admit Card from April 20 and the last date of downloading the admit card is 12th May. BITSAT will be in online mode and it will be held from May 16 to 25. You will get an option for admission with class 12 marks and preferences from May 18 to June 18. BITS will announce the admit list and waitlist in June 20. 

Candidates are Advised to Read and Follow the Guidelines for the Day of the Examination:

  • Candidates will have to reach their allotted test centre at least one hour before the exam time. It would be better if the students visit the exam centre one day before the examination so they will get an idea about the traffic and route. It will help them to reach the exam centre easily on the test day. 

  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry any forbidden things like smartphones, calculators, books and any other electronic gadgets in the examination hall. 

  • If you are a candidate then you will have to carry your admit card along with a valid Identity proof with photo at the exam centres. 

  • You will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the exam is finished.
