Assam PAT 2023-24

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam is responsible for conducting the Assam Polytechnic PAT 2022 Examination. The Assam PAT 2022 or the Assam Polytechnic Admission Test 2022 is an exam conducted to offer admission to aspirants in the Polytechnic Diploma courses. This exam is conducted once every year. Students who are looking out for admission into the various polytechnic colleges or institutions situated in the state of Assam can take up this exam. They need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks necessary for the same and take part in the further processes to obtain admission. The residents of Assam who have passed the standard 10th and fulfilled all the necessary criteria can apply. Assam PAT Application Form

Assam PAT application form 2022 would be released by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Assam. The application form was released and made available from 3rd week of May 2022(Tentative). According to earlier information, the last date for submitting the application form was supposed to be 2nd week of August 2022(Tentative). The process of filling the application form includes registration,  filling up of the Assam PAT application form 2022, uploading the necessary scanned images, requisite fee payment and submission of the filled application form. The fee for the application form of Assam PAT 2022 can either be paid in the online mode or offline mode. Candidates must remember that only those who have submitted the application form before the final submission date will be able to download their respective admit cards. Earlier the  Assam PAT 2022 was to be conducted on Last week of August 2022(Tentative). 

Assam PAT Exam Date

As per the earlier announcements, the Assam PAT Exam Date was supposed to be Last week of August 2022(Tentative). However, now the last date for submission of application for Assam PAT 2022 has been extended to 2nd week of August 2022(Tentative). The date of examination is yet to be notified for the aspirants. Students who are the residents of Assam and looking out for admission into several polytechnic colleges or institutions situated in the state of Assam must keep a lookout for the important dates regarding the exam and take up the same.     

Assam PAT Admit Card

The Assam PAT admit card will be released by the conducting body once the registration process is successfully completed and the examination dates are announced. The admit card will be made available to all the registered candidates on the official website by the Directorate of Technical Education. The admit card will be made available in the online mode. Only the candidates who have successfully submitted their completely filled application form along with the payment of the prescribed exam fee will be able to download the Assam PAT Admit Card. The Admit card is one of the most essential and important documents, the students are required to take a print out of the same and keep it. The amidst card needs to be furnished to the exam supervisor on the exam day. Also, the admit card is a very important document for the counselling and admission process of a student. Therefore the students are advised to keep the admit card safe until their admission into the college is completed. 

Assam PAT Cut off

The category and course-specific cutoffs of Assam PAT 2022 for all the institutes participating in the exam will be released by the admission authorities. The cut off is the last rank at which a candidate had been admitted to a particular course is a particular college. Therefore it is necessary that the students know the cut off for each college. Any student who does not meet the necessary criteria set for the cut-offs will not be taken into account for admission. Also, students must remember that the cut off will be determined based on various factors like the number of applications received by the authorities for a particular course and number of seats available in a particular college etc. it is important to note that the Assam PAT cutoff 2022 is going to be different for different courses.

Assam PAT Eligibility Criteria

To make the process of admission more reliable and easier, the examination authorities have set aside a list of eligibility criteria for students who are looking out for taking up the Assam PAT 2022. All students who aspire to qualify in the Assam PAT 200 exam and to get a seat in one of the many institutes in the state of Assam must full-fill all the eligibility criteria. Non-compliance to any one of these prescribed eligibility criteria may lead to the disqualification of the candidate at any stage of the process of admission. One of the basic eligibility criteria required to take up the Assam PAT 2022 examination is that the student must be an Indian and a resident of Assam. 

Assam PAT Exam Pattern

Knowing the exam pattern is a very important part of exam preparation. If you are aware of the exam pattern and know what kind of questions will be asked, you will have an extra edge in your exam preparation plan. For instance, if you know that the exam will be of objective type, then you would work more on your speed and accuracy rather than mugging up the topics like you would for a subjective type of exam. The Assam PAT Exam will be conducted in offline mode. There will be a total of 100 questions in the paper in the MCQ format. And the students will be given a total time of two hours for answering the paper. Also, the Assam PAT Exam Pattern will award 1 mark for each right answer and no negative marks for the wrong ones. 

Assam PAT Result

The results for the Assam Polytechnic Test 2022 will be declared and made available online on the official website by the Directorate of Technical Education. The Assam PAT 2022 result will contain important information about the candidate like the qualifying status of the candidate, subject-wise marks, total marks, and the merit rank. Students must note that to prepare the Assam PAT merit rank 2022, the score obtained by the student in the entrance exam will be taken into consideration. No weightage will be awarded to the qualifying marks. Once the results are successfully announced, the qualified students will be enlisted and called for the further interview process. The time, date and venue of the interview will be made available along with the written examination result. The final result or the merit list for admission to various institutes of Polytechnic in Assam will be declared after the interview. 

Assam PAT Counselling

Assam PAT Counselling 2022 will be centralized counselling that will be conducted in offline mode. The counselling will be conducted for all the short-listed candidates who had appeared for the Assam PAT 2022. The names of the short-listed candidates will be declared online. As the counselling session is an offline process, the students will have to report to the venue personally for the counselling process. In the counselling process, the students will have to get their documents verified which will then be followed by seat allotment. Candidates who fail to procure the originals of all the necessary documents will not be considered for the admission.
