CBSE Hindi Elective Class 11 2024 -25: Syllabus Outline (Code No. 002)

The question paper will have sections A, B, and C.
In Section A, questions based on unseen comprehension will be asked. All questions are compulsory.
In Section B, questions will be based on expression and medium textbooks. Internal choices will be provided in the questions.
Section C will ask questions based on the textbooks Antara Part-2 and Antarlakshya Part-2. Internal choices will be provided in the questions.

1	01 Unseen passage (approximately 250 words) based on comprehension, analysis, and evaluation with multiple-choice questions, very short answer questions, and short answer questions. (Multiple-choice questions 01 mark x 3 questions = 3 marks, very short answer questions 01 mark x 1 question = 1 mark, short answer questions 02 marks x 3 questions = 6 marks)
2	01 Unseen passage (approximately 100 words) based on comprehension, summary, and synthesis with multiple-choice questions, very short answer questions, and short answer questions. (Multiple-choice questions 01 mark x 3 questions = 3 marks, very short answer questions 01 mark x 1 question = 1 mark, short answer questions 02 marks x 2 questions = 4 marks)
Section - B (Expression and Medium Textbooks) 22 Marks
3	Ikai Ek - Janmadhyam Madhyam aur Lekhan (Path 3, 4, 5) based on approximately 30-40 words of very short answer questions and short answer questions. (01 mark x 01 question, 02 marks x 02 questions)
4	Based on chapters 3, 4, and 5, answer any 02 questions (03 marks x 02 questions) (approximately 60 words each)
5	Out of the given 03 new and self-composed topics, write on any one topic in approximately 100 words (05 marks x 01 questions)
6	Based on chapters 6, 7, and 8, answer any 02 questions (03 marks x 02 questions) (approximately 60 words each)
Section - C (Antara Part-1 and Antarlakshya Part-1 Textbooks) 40 Marks

9	Summary or critical appreciation of any one text (choice provided) (06 marks x 01 question) (approximately 100 words)
10	Based on the prescribed prose, 05 multiple-choice questions. All questions are compulsory (01 mark x 05 questions)
11	Based on the prose section, answer any 02 questions out of 03 questions (approximately 40 words each) (02 marks x 02 questions)
