Hint: Gonads are the primary reproductive organs in humans. They are responsible for the production of the male and female gamete which is sperm and eggs. They secrete hormones hence, also called endocrine glands.

Complete answer:
The gonads found in male are testes and in females it is a pair of ovaries.
-Testes are oval- shaped organs. They are located in the scrotum. . Testes are found in pair and is responsible for the release of the male sex hormone testosterone. The hormone plays a crucial role in the formation of sperm. They are also responsible for the storage of the sperms. They produce hormones other than the testosterone known as androgens. Inside testes is the presence of seminiferous tubules which are responsible for the spermatogenesis. The tubules are lined with the Sertoli cells which produce hormones that produce sperm. Leydig cells present in the testes produce testosterone and androgens.
-Ovary is present in the female reproductive part which produces ova or eggs. One ovary is present on each side of the body. Ovaries are connected to the uterus by the fallopian tube. Ovaries also produce various hormones, including estrogen and progestogen. It also secretes hormones at puberty which are responsible for developing the secondary sexual characters. They regulate the menstrual cycle and pregnancy. Ovaries are responsible for the maturation of oocytes and then they release in the fallopian tube to be transported to the uterus.
