Hint: A gene is accountable for the indication of a specific trait. In diploid organisms, a gene is exemplified by a pair of alleles. When these two alleles are not similar, one of alleles is various with modified information.

Complete Answer:
In genetics, dominance is the happening of one variant referred to as allele of a gene on a chromosome masking or overriding the effect of a several variants of the similar gene on the other copy of the chromosome. The first variant is termed dominant as well as the second recessive. This state of having two numerous variants of the same gene on each chromosome is initially resulted in by a mutation in one of the genes, either new or inherited.

Normal alleles will form natural enzymes. Changed or amended allele can form three categories of enzymes i.e. normal enzyme, non-functional enzyme, no enzyme at all. Enzymes are constantly compelled for the formation of substrates, say ‘S’. Modified allele is almost related to normal allele and forms the same enzyme as well as generates the same phenotypic trait i.e., leads to the construction of substrate ‘S’.

Let us find the correct answer:
Option – A – It produces a normal/less effective enzyme – Is the Valid answer to the given Question.
Option – B – It produces the same phenotype/trait – Is not the accurate answer according to the question.
Option – C – It results in the transformation of Substrate – Is not the appropriate answer to the provided Question.
Option – D – More than one option is correct – Is not the correct answer to above mentioned Question.

So the correct according to the question is option A 'it produces normal/less efficient enzyme'.

Note: Sometimes allele shaped are non-functional enzyme or no enzyme as well as phenotypic trait depends on functioning of un-modified allele. Operating or unmodified allele will shape the actual normal phenotypic trait that is because of dominant allele as well as altered allele will be called as recessive allele.
