Biuret Tests: Compounds with peptide interactions perform this experiment. Protein polypeptides and amino acids are bound together by peptide bonds. The alkaline protein solution is treated with a drop of aqueous copper sulphate where a violet bluish colour is obtained.

Heller's ring tests: Heller's tests usually use concentrated nitric acid to convert proteins. Tests are performed for clinical purposes to detect abnormal proteins in biological fluids, including urine. Heller testing is a type of rain test where rain is brought in by denaturation fluctuations.

Ninhydrin Testing: Proteins mixed with the pyridine solution of ninhydrin provide a colour solution ranging from deep blue to deep pink and sometimes even red in some cases. Ninhydrin solution is prepared by dissolving ninhydrin in distilled water. But this ninhydrin solution is unstable and can be stored for two days.

Lucas test: Lucas test is used to separate and separate primary, secondary and third alcoholic beverages using anhydrous zinc chloride solution in concentrated hydrochloric acid.
