Hint: In order to solve this question, we should know that charge is one of the fundamental properties of the matter present in our universe, and here we will discuss the charge and the minimum value of charge available in our nature.
Complete step by step solution:
As we know, every matter in our nature possesses the fundamental property called charge. Since every matter when viewed at the atomic level we found that matter is made up of the smallest entity called atom which consists of three types of particles in it namely electron, proton, and neutron. And the quality of these three particles called charge such as an electron is negatively charged, the proton is positively charged and the neutron has no charge known as neutral.
And scientifically, it’s discovered that electrons and protons have the same magnitude of charge and it’s the least value of charge available in nature and its value is $1.6 \times {10^{ - 19}}C$ where C is the unit of charge called Coulomb. Protons have a positive charge whereas electrons have a negative charge but their magnitude is the same.
Hence, the least value of charge available in nature is $1.6 \times {10^{ - 19}}C$.
Note: It should be remembered that It was J.J Thompson who first discovered about the nature of an electron and all matter consist of these three atomic particles and no matter what kind of material is each atom in our nature consist of these three fundamental particles and have the same charge always in it and it remains the least possible charge on the matter.
