JEE Main 2022 26 June Evening Shift (Shift 2) - Question Paper Analysis

The question paper analyses for the JEE Main 2022 26 June Evening Shift have been provided below for students’ reference. It is recommended that students read through these points to prepare for their upcoming exams accordingly. Students should strategise their study plans and regimes by revising all the important concepts and questions from each of the three sections.

  

Physics Question Paper Analysis

  • The Physics section was moderately difficult as compared to the Maths and Chemistry sections.

  • 13 questions comprising 52 marks came from the Class 11 syllabus, and an equal number of questions comprising the same total score came form the Class 12 syllabus.  

  • 14, 11, and 1 questions were of easy, medium, and difficult levels, respectively.

  • The questions were mostly from the NCERT textbooks and students who had practised the same had a better luck solving the questions in the exam.

  • Capacitors, Semiconductors, and Communication System were the important topics in this section, from which most of the questions were asked.


Chemistry Question Paper Analysis

  • The Chemistry section was the easiest compared to the Physics and Maths sections.

  • 11 questions comprising 44 marks came from the Class 11 syllabus, and 19 questions comprising 76 marks came from the Class 12 syllabus.

  • 8, 16, and 6 questions were of easy, medium, and difficult levels, respectively.

  • Most of the questions in the Chemistry section were NCERT-based 

  • The important topics from which most questions were asked are Biomolecules, Metalloids, dand f-Block Elements, and Name Reactions.


Maths Question Paper Analysis

  • The Mathematics section was the most difficult when compared to the Physics and Chemistry sections.

  • 9 questions comprising 36 marks came from the Class 11 syllabus, and 8 questions comprising 32 marks came from the Class 12 syllabus.

  • 5, 10, and 2 questions were of easy, medium, and difficult levels, respectively.

  • Some questions were from the NCERT textbook.

  • Definite Integration, Indefinite Integration, and Mathematical Reasoning were the important topics that were touched upon by the questions in this section.

1. What is the release date for JEE Main 2022 Admit Card?

As per the latest notification released by NTA, JEE Main 2022 Admit Card will be released by June 12, 2022 on the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in). Candidates can log in with their registered user ID and password to download the admit card from the official website.

2. What are the revised eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2022?

The JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria and attempts has been revised. As per the latest update, there will only be 2 attempts for JEE Main i.e., the June session and the other will be the July session. If any candidate is unsatisfied with their performance in the JEE Main 2022 June session, they can re-appear for the exam in the July session. NTA has also withdrawn the minimum 75% marks criteria for this year, however, JEE Mains Arch & Planning candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in PCM along with an overall 50% score in aggregate.

3. Which was the most difficult section in JEE Main 2022 26 June Evening Shift?
