Last Date to Edit JEE Main 2023 Application Form

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has tentatively opened the JEE Main application correction window for Session 1 & Session 2 from January 13 to 14 and March 8 to 9, respectively. 


The JEE Main form correction facility will remain open for the candidate on the official website to change details like exam city, education details, paper, etc. 


Candidates can edit their JEE Main application form at the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can also modify/rectify detailed filled-in submitted JEE application forms of Session 2 online by logging in application ID and password. By using the JEE Main correction window, candidates can update their details in the already filled JEE Main application forms

For AADHAR Verified Candidates:

  • Father’s & Mother’s Name -  A candidate is entitled to change their Father’s or Mother’s names, i.e., they must select only one.

  • Category - Candidates can either change the category or upload the Category Certificate again and vice-versa. They can’t initiate both actions.

  • Sub-category (PwD) - Candidates can perform changes regarding either Sub-category (PwD) or upload Sub-Category Certificate again and vice-versa, but not both.

  • City & Medium - They can edit their city preferences and the medium they want to appear for the JEE Main 2023 exams.

  • Qualifications - Aspirants can also make necessary changes in their qualifications for the 10th and 12th or any similar level examination.

  • Course - Candidates can change their chosen courses while completing the application form.

For AADHAR NOT Verified Candidates:

  • Candidate’s Name, Father’s, and Mother’s Name - Candidates can change their name, father’s name, or mother’s name. (Choose any one only).

  • Category

  • Date of Birth and Gender - NTA has allowed aspirants to change their birth date and gender if necessary.
