JEE Advanced 2019 Admit Card/Hall Ticket - Procedure to Download Here

Out of the 16 Indian Institutes of Technology, a single institute takes the entire responsibility of conducting the JEE exams each year. In 2019, IIT Roorkee is in charge of the entire process of orchestrating the exam. The IIT will release JEE Advanced admit card in online mode only, starting from May 20 till May 27. Only registered candidates will be eligible to download the admit cards.

If you are a registered candidate, you have to keep your registration number, mobile number, date of birth, and email ID handy. The link to download the admit card will be available soon once the authorities reveal it.

In case there are any discrepancies between details on the admit card and your submitted data, you must immediately contact the examining authority. It is crucial to keep an admit card in proper shape because, without it, you will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Note that the JEE Advanced exam will be held on May 27, 2019, according to the latest updates.

How can I download the JEE Advanced admit card?

Simply follow these steps to download the admit card.

  • • Click on the official admit card download link (it will be updated as soon as it is made public).

  • • Enter your JEE 2019 Advanced exam registration number, your date of birth, email ID and mobile phone number.

  • • You will then see your admit card on the screen.

  • • Make sure to tally all the details mentioned on it. If everything seems to be okay, download it.

  • • Make sure to take a print of your admit card. Also, keep some photocopies handy.

  • • In case you are unable to download the card, or there are any discrepancies vis-à-vis details, contact the chairman of the zonal IIT that is coordinating this exam immediately.

  • What if you forget the JEE 2019 Advanced registration number?

    It is important to keep your registration number handy. If by chance you end up misplacing it, you have to click on the official download link. You will then have to enter your registration number and also your date of birth. Post that, you will be redirected to the download page.

    What can you carry inside the exam hall apart from your admit card?

    Here is a list of items you are allowed to carry.

  • 1. Pen and pencils. Note that only ballpoint pens with transparent bodies are permissible inside the hall.

  • 2. An eraser and a plastic ruler (if needed).

  • 3. At least one original identity proof. It has to have your photograph; you can take your Aadhaar, PAN card, or Driving License with you. Ensure you carry a spare photocopy too.

    JEE Advanced is easily one of the toughest exams in the country. Here is some essential information to remember before you appear for the test.

  • 1. First and foremost, remember that you will have to present this admit card to the invigilators at the exam venue. Carry the original card very carefully. Also, you should always carry some photocopies of the card with you so that you do not have to peruse the original too much.

  • 2. You must reach the examination venue by 07.45 AM (Indian Standard Time), and await your turn for physical checks and biometric verification.

  • 3. There are two sessions of the exam. You are not allowed to leave the examination venue until both the sessions are over.

  • 4. You are not allowed to carry these items inside the venue: any sort of electronic devices including Bluetooth devices and microphones, any sort of paper whether black or written or printed, pencil or geometry boxes, electronic pens, wallets, goggles or any calculator, whether analogue or scientific.

  • 5. It is advisable not to wear any veils or lucky charms, rings, bracelets, brooches, hair pins, full-sleeved shirts, badges or pendants. You are also advised not to wear closed shoes and stick to open-toed footwear like sandals.

  • 6. You will only be allowed to enter the exam hall after your checks are completed.

  • 7. Any violation of the rules and regulations of the examination can lead to cancellation of your candidature.
