Now, in the end, go back to the questions that you left for review. We have all heard about guesses but a smart student is the one who learns to make Educational guesses only when required. When you are stuck on a question, try out the Elimination method and reach an answer.

  • Try not to leave any questions and attempt everything as there is no negative marking in the NTSE Stage- I Examination.

  • Try to fill the OMR after each section so that you don’t have to hurry in the latter part of the exam.

3. I keep forgetting what I learn. What should I do to cover up my syllabus for the NTSE Exam?

There is a one-word solution to this: Revision. First of all, make a study plan and timetable. Understand your basics. Dig through the concepts and understand why and how things are happening. Relate Science to your day-to-day activities and develop your interest. Now that you have done all of this, revise daily. It doesn’t matter if you finish the entire syllabus in a month because if you don’t revise it, you would have forgotten most of it. Try to make your handwritten notes after studying a topic, revise them daily at first then start revising every few days and solve questions for each topic. This will benefit you.

4. Until when do the students who pass the NTSE Exams get Scholarships?

Every year, a total of 1000 Scholarships are approved for the candidates. The candidates who qualify the exam successfully and get marks above the cut-off get Scholarships uptil their PhD studies. The students studying in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Technology, Management and law receive their cash Scholarships of 2000/- up to second-degree level whereas the candidates studying in Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce, Languages, Vocational Studies and Fine Arts are eligible to receive a Scholarship up to PhD level.

5. Is it necessary to solve sample papers for the NTSE Exam?

Let’s suppose that you read a topic of about 30 pages. In the end, you will have forgotten at least half of it. But when you will start solving questions, you will start remembering what you read. Whether it’s from the 5th page or the 30th page. Solving questions improves your logical assessment skills as well as your thinking capabilities. Only reading is never enough, practicality is the most important aspect of studying. This is where students lack the most. By solving papers, you get an idea of what the examiner wants from you and how the questions are framed. Only theory does not help you crack exams.
