KIITEE is a university-based exam that is conducted by the Kalinga Institute of industrial technology, which is located in Bhubaneswar. It is an entrance examination specifically for the university; through this exam, students can get into various undergraduate, postgraduate, and integrated M.Sc.- Ph.D. programmes. The university offers courses like law, engineering, arts, management, computer science, nursing, etc., for which students will be selected through the KIITEE exam 2022. The minimum qualification for students to sit in the examination is 12th for ug courses, and students applying for PG courses should at least be a graduate.

 

The KIITEE 2022 is an online exam that is conducted by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. This exam has a duration of three hours and is conducted once a year. KIITEE Application Form 2022

The application forms for the KIITEE entrance exam 2022 are out and are available online. The last date to submit the forms online is 28th january 2022. The application form will be considered successful only when students pay the application form fee to appear in the examination. KIITEE exam 2022 has no application fee, so students can fill the form free of cost. The students applying for the exam have to be very careful while filling the details as no modification is allowed once students have paid the application fee. At the time of filling the form, the students should be ready with all the documents required, like a scanned photograph, id proof, signature, mark sheets, etc.


KIITEE Exam Date 2022

The online registration for the KIITEE entrance exam 2022 began on 10th December 2021, and the last date to fill the form has been extended to 28th January 2022. The exam will be held from Feb 2022 to june 2022. The date for the availability of admit cards is yet to be announced. Also, the dates for results and the beginning of counselling is also yet to be announced.


KIITEE Admit Card

The admit card for the KIITEE exam 2022 will likely be available for download in Feb 2022. If any of the students face any kind of problem during the download of the admit card, then he/she must contact the helpline numbers mentioned on the official website of the university and make sure to get the issue resolved as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute confusions.


Students should ensure that the admit card stays intact until the admission process is over. If students wish to download the admit card online, then they have to mention the details asked by the website. Make sure to make a soft copy of the admit card as students will be asked to present it on the day of the examination with one photo id as well. Downloading of the admit card is compulsory online, as no hard copy will be issued to the students.


KIITEE Cutoff

After the KIITEE entrance exam 2022 is conducted, the university website will declare the cutoff list online. The dates for the same have not been announced yet. The cutoff list will be based upon the pointers like reservation policy, the difficulty of the exam, the number of the students who gave the test, students, entrance scoreboard, etc.


To clear the examination, a general category student should qualify with 50% marks, reserved categories like ST/SC with 40% and general PH with 45% of marks only then students are further eligible for counselling sessions.


KIITEE Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria will differ as per the course which the students want to select:


      For a Dual Degree in Biotechnology (B.Tech and M.Tech)

The students applying for this course should be 10+2 pass or appearing in 2022 with at least 60% of marks from a recognized board. It is mandatory to pass in subjects like maths/biotechnology/biology, physics, and chemistry. The age criteria for applying for KIITEE 2022 is 21 years and above.


      For BBA

The students should clear the 10+2 program with at least 50% of marks in any stream which is recognized by the board. The student must have cleared at least one of the subjects from maths/economic/statistics/business maths. The student applying for the exam should be above 21 years of age.


      For MCA

The students applying should be a graduate with mathematics as a subject in either 12th or graduation and must have passed with at least 50% of marks.


      For LLM

The student must be a graduate from the course BBA LLB/ B.A.LLB/ B.SC LLB /B.L. from any recognized board and must have passed with at least 55% of marks.

 

KIITEE Exam Pattern

The exam pattern will also vary according to the course chosen by the candidate. The KIITEE 2022 will be in the English language only. The exam will be of 3 hours, and the question type will be multiple-choice questions. For every correct answer, the student will be awarded 4+ marks, and if the student fails to answer correctly, then 1 mark will be deducted. There will be 3 sections divided, and a total of 120 questions will be presented for the exam. Students have to prepare for the exam according to the syllabus for the course.

 

KIITEE Result

The dates for the results have not been released yet, but it is likely to appear in the month of August 2022. The students who will appear for the exam can check the results on the official website of the university. The results can be viewed by the students when they enter their details like registration number and date of birth. The students should preserve the rank card provided to them as it will be required in the further admission process. Soon after the result comes out, the counselling session will start, and the students will get to know the details further.


KIITEE Counselling

After the declaration of the results for the KIITEE exam 2022, the students who qualify will be further called for the counselling session. The students will be called for counselling on the basis of the course they chose and the order of the merit. The students will be called for the seat allotment procedure.

When the students are called for the counselling procedure, they should carry a copy of the documents as well as the original documents along with them. The documents are:

  • 12th and 10th mark sheet and passing certificate

  • KIITEE entrance exam 2022 rank card and the admit card

  • a few passport sized photographs

The students have to make sure they carry the mentioned documents and material required to appear in the examination. The required documents are a valid id proof, passport-sized photograph, and the admit card issued by the university. The students should make sure that they do not carry any textual material inside the hall or devices like a calculator, smartwatch, etc. The students can also not take any kind of eating items inside the exam hall. Yes, the university does offer reservations, and the seats are distributed according to the reservation plan of the university. There are 15% seats that have been allotted to scheduled caste, 7.5% for the scheduled tribe, and 3% for the physically challenged students. To meet the reservation criteria, the students have to show the birth certificate. Adoption or marriage will not be counted under reservations.
