Overview: KIITEE Counselling 2022
The KIITEE Counseling dates 2022 are yet to be revised as per the new timeline issued by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. KIITEE counseling will be held only after the results have been announced. Candidates who have earned a ranking that falls within the cutoff will be called for counseling with an attached schedule.

KIITEE Counseling Schedule
Given that the timeline for KIITEE has been revised, the new counseling schedule is yet to be determined. However, it is quite certain that they will be released after the exam has been held between July 2022(Tentative) and August 2022(Tentative). The official schedule will be released along with the results for KIITEE 2022 are declared.
Counseling Procedure
The counseling procedure will consist of the following steps from choosing their course to paying the admission fee.
Choosing the Course: Candidates will be provided with preference based on their rankings and thus will need to decide what branch and sub-branch they wish to opt for according to the exam they have taken. Candidates will need to reach the counseling venue at least a half-hour before the scheduled time. Candidates with higher ranks will be given a better preference.
Verification of Documents: Candidates should carry their original documents (as listed below) in order to have them verified. If the candidate has all the required documents and they have all been verified to be accurate, then the admission process can continue. Failure to produce a required document or a failure to verify the documents will result in the candidate not being allowed to proceed with admission to the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.
Allotment of Seats: The candidates will be allotted a seat in their desired course based on the course’s availability, the total number of seats, and their own ranking. This step is only taken after all the candidate’s documents have been verified.
Payment: Candidates will need to pay the counseling fee in order to gain admission into KIIT with the allotted seat. A demand draft must be issued for the same.
Steps to Apply for KIITEE Counseling
Counseling is generally available only for candidates who have cleared the KIITEE examination with a sufficient rank. Reservation is also available for candidates in certain special categories.

FAQs on KIITEE Counselling 2023-24
1. Is there any additional fee to be paid during counseling?
The counseling process will require students to bring a Demand Draft of Rs 75,000 in favor of KIIT. This amount also includes the Rs 10,000 counseling fee, which is non-refundable. Any balance fees will need to be paid as per the fee structure which the candidate may pay upon the day of reporting to the institution. The demand draft in question will have to be payable at Bhubaneshwar. Payment in cash is not allowed, as only demand drafts will be acceptable in this scenario.
2. Where can the KIITEE counseling schedule be seen?
The KIITEE counseling schedule is yet to be properly distributed, given the delays in the entire KIITEE timeline, thanks to extraneous circumstances. In light of this, new exam dates and a new application deadline date has been posted to all interested parties. Candidates who have applied for the KIITEE will receive the results via email (can also be checked on-site) and will later also be able to view their own schedule based on ranges of rankings along with the corresponding KIITEE counseling dates 2022.
