Application Form 2022 JEECE

JEECE stands for the Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Exam. The JCECE board conducts this examination at the state level for the entrance in the engineering colleges of Jharkhand. Under this exam, the students can apply for B.E. and B. Tech courses across the colleges of the state. This exam is conducted once every year. The applicants can fill the JEECE application form 2022 only once through the online method. There is no option for offline filing of the form. If the applicants fill the application twice, there are chances of it getting canceled.

Things to Keep Ready Before Filling The JEECE 2022 Application Form

While registering for the JEECE examination, along with the details, an applicant needs to upload a list of certain documents as well. The documents that the applicants must keep ready before filling the JEECE form include:

  • Passport size photograph.

  • Scanned signature.

  • Thumb impression of left-hand.

  • Marksheets- Class 10th and class 12th.

Procedure and Steps to Fill The JEECE Application Form

The procedure for filling the form for JEECE is quite simple. The applicant can do this in a few steps which include:

 

Online Registration: The Foremost Step is to Visit The Official Website of JEECE

  • Choose the JEECE examination from the drop-down ‘Examination List’ and click on ‘New Registration’.

  • Once done, an application form appears.

  • You need to fill in all the necessary details which include:

    • Personal details including the candidate’s name, mother’s and father’s name, category, nationality, Aadhar number and other details. 

    • Exam city details and the course applying for

    • Qualification details, i.e., marks of class 10th and 12th

    • Communication details

  • After filling details, set the password, and proceed with the final submission of the application. 

  • After this, click on the ‘Submit’ option.

 

Uploading the documents: You need to upload the scanned copy of all the documents as mentioned above. Keep in mind the specifications required for the submission of documents, else you won’t be able to upload the documents.

 

Payment of registration fee: The last step is to make the payment. The applicant has to make the payment through online methods. These include credit/debit card and net banking options. 

  • The fees for general and OBC category applications is ₹900, while the fees for SC/ST is ₹450. 

  • Fill in all the details and make the payment to complete the submission of the application.

 

Printing the application form: It is always an excellent practice to print the application form after registration for application number and login credentials.

How can I correct the incorrect details entered in the application form?


You can only correct the details before the final submission of the JEECE application form. After submitting the form, you can’t make any further changes in the details. Therefore, you must always check the form several times to avoid any errors.

2. Is there any negative marking criteria in the examination?

The exam contains three sections, each of physics, chemistry and mathematics. For every wrong answer, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks. And hence, it is advised to the candidates to avoid marking answers rather than marking the wrong ones. Always be sure of the answer before marking it, as it has a direct effect on their result.
