NCO Exam 2020 Syllabus

The SOF NCO Olympiad exam comprises of three sections:

  1. Logical and analytical Reasoning

  2. Computers & Information Technology

  3. Achievers Section.

Note: Students are required to attempt questions from all the three sections in duration of 1hour.


NCO Exam Pattern 2020-21

NCO exam takes place in 2 levels i.e. Level1 and Level 2.  Below is all-inclusive information on the NCO exam 2020 paper Pattern.

Level-1 The 1st level of NCO entrance exam competition consists of a written objective-type test. It includes 35 multiple choice questions from class 2 to class 4 and 50 questions for class 5 to class 12. Students have to write the level 1 NCO Olympiad in 60 minutes duration. Each correct answer carries one mark. There is no negative marking in the NCO exam paper 2020.

Level-2 The 2nd level of NCO exam takes place Online at Reliance web stores. Top 500 Students from level 1 qualify for the level 2 from each class.

SOF releases the official answer key of NCO 2020 (Set A & B) on the official website of Science Olympiad Foundation in the month of January. You can download the NCO answer key from the official website of SOF. The SOF NCO result 2020 will be declared online itself on the official website of SOF.

1. What Are the Criteria for Ranking in Level 1 in NCO Olympiad Exams?

For class I & II students appearing in NCO exam, ranks will be based on the following criterion:-

  • Total Marks scored in the exam NCO Olympiad

  •  In an event of two or more students scoring the same number of marks, ranks will be dictated on the basis of marks obtained in sections coincided more priority

  • In an event of a tie marks scored by a student in previous class may be considered to establish the rank

  •  In an event of two or more students score same marks under both the criteria aforementioned, they will be allotted the same rank

  • In case of any ambiguity decision of the Academic Committee will be final & binding
