What is the INMO Exam?

The Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) is the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad. The INMO is the third stage of the HBCSE IMO. The Indian National Olympiad is very well known to be the mathematical competition for the high school that is held annually in India. The INMO examination is known to be the second stage in the Indian team selection procedure for the International Mathematical Olympiad. The INMO examination is conducted every year by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).

The candidates who qualify for the INMO exam get a golden opportunity to go to the training camp at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), which is sponsored by the National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM). At the college level, the International Math Olympiad is known to be one of the most prestigious examinations. Six of the most talented students in the field of mathematics who have been tested by various exams are given the opportunity to represent our country among nearly a hundred competing countries at the International Math Olympiad. These six students are tested at every level and they solve very hard problems to get a gold medal in Mathematics. These selected students are usually selected through a national level olympiad held in the respective countries.

The Indian National Maths Olympiad (INMO) is a stage that is used to select candidates for the International Math Olympiad that is considered to be the gateway for IMO. Thousands of students participate in the INMO examination and only 30 candidates are shortlisted from all over the country. After successfully passing the INMO examination, the selected candidates are then trained at the IMOTC (International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp), and after the training six best candidates are chosen to represent our country at the international level. INMO is a very competitive exam and it requires that the student have in-depth knowledge of the topics in the syllabus.

In this, we are going to explain what INMO is, how the candidates can register, the exam instructions, eligibility criteria for the INMO 2023-24 examination, and the complete syllabus.
