AMU MBBS Merit List 2023: Tie-Breaking Method

In case two candidates score the same, then their ranks on the AMU MBBS 2023 merit list will be decided as follows:-

1. Candidates who secured higher marks/percentile scores in Biology will be awarded a higher rank on the AMU MBBS merit list.

2. If the tie persists, candidates whose rank is higher in Chemistry will be ranked higher.

3. If the tie persists, then students who attempted less incorrect answers will be placed on the merit list.

4. If all the factors are still not sufficient, then the candidates age factor will be considered. This means that candidates who are older will be first preferred.

Candidates must choose to enrol in or withdraw from the college that is assigned to them based on their merit.

1. Candidates Who Chose To Enrol In The College Allotted To Them

In this case, an allotment letter will be provided to the candidates who chose to enrol in the college allotted to them. They can access the allotment by logging into their dashboard by providing their username and password. Following are the documents required while appearing for the chosen college:

1. NEET Admit Card 2023.

2. Class 10th and 12th Certificate (marks sheet required as proof of date of birth).

3. ID Proof (Adhar Card/ Pan Card/ Passport and more).

4. 10 Passport size photographs (Be mindful of the photograph specification).

5. Category certificate.

6. PwD Certificate.

7. Provisional allotment letter.

2. Candidates Not Willing To Join The Alloted College

If a candidate is not satisfied with the college allotted as per their performance during their first counselling, they can always apply for the second counselling round. On the basis of the merit assurance and the number of seats vacant candidates can always appear for the preferred seat. The authorities will conduct three counselling rounds in total.
