To secure a rank in the AIAPGET result, candidates have to obtain a minimum qualifying percentile in the entrance exam. This qualifying percentile is the AIAPGET cut off.
AIAPGET percentiles released by NTA for each and every category of students are as follows:
AIAPGET merit list which will be released by the NTA will comprise two lists- a combined merit list and separate merit lists for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy courses. There will be names of the candidates, marks secured by them, total marks, percentiles scored by the candidates, and their AIAPGET ranks in the merit lists. The seats will be allotted based on the AIAPGET rank obtained by each candidate.
If there is a tie between two or more candidates while preparing AIAPGET result, the tie-breaking criteria will be applied as follows:
Candidates who have marked less number of negative responses will be ranked higher. Aspirants who have obtained a higher percentage of marks in BAMS, BUMS, BHMS or BSMS will be pushed upward in the AIAPGET result list.
Candidates who will qualify the AYUSH entrance examination will have to appear in the AIAPGET counselling 2020. The AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) will conduct the AIAPGET counselling 2020 on the basis of the ranks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination. On the basis of the AIAPGET 2020 counselling, AIAPGET seat allotment will be done by State/UTs/Universities/deemed universities/AYUSH colleges and other concerned institutes. The admission of the candidates will depend primarily on the rank and then on other factors like college chosen, availability of seats, domicile criteria, and reservation conditions, etc.
