Answer: The speaker likes that the gardener does whatever he likes with his spade and nobody scolds him even if he gets dirty or works under the sun or in the rain.

1. What’s missing?
   The child sees only the fun part of each job. What do you think might be the difficult or boring part of being a hawker, a gardener or a watchman? Write a paragraph to express your thoughts.
   Answer: Being a hawker means walking all day, sometimes in sun or rain, and selling goods. A gardener has to work hard in dirt and face weather hardships. A watchman must stay awake all night and often feels lonely and tired. Every job has tough parts that are not visible at first.
2. In the poem, the speaker tells us about the vocations of different people. Write the vocations of any three of your family members, in 50-60 words each, from the list below.
