Importance of Tables:

It is very important to remember the common tables to make the daily Maths easier.In our junior KGs as soon as we get familiar with the numbers we are taught tables. 

Tables from 1 to 10 are commonly memorised by everyone. But students appearing for competitive exams must memorise tables from 2 to 30 on the tip of their tongue. The very first step to make maths perfect is to memorize tables from 2 to 30. 


One of the key benefits of learning tables is, it minimizes the time taken for calculations. It also helps in speed and accuracy of the problems solved,

 A common mistake we do while reading tables are we put ‘za’ such as 

2 one za 2

2 two za 4

2 three za 6 and so on ….


But the correct way to read it is :


2 ones are 2 i.e. 2 1s are 2

2 twos are 4

2 threes are 6

.

.

.

2 tens are 20 and so on….
