KBPE Class 12 Business Studies Question Paper 2018

Solving previous year question papers helps students to prepare for the exam better. Referring to past year papers assures students to achieve deserving marks in their board exams. Class 12 question paper is provided to students as a guide about the exam pattern and how the question paper is set by the board.

Question Paper Pattern

The pattern followed in the 2018 question paper of Class 12 business studies conducted by KBPE is given below briefly:

1. The question paper is divided into seven sections.

2. Section 1 comprises seven MCQs, 1 mark each.

3. Section 2 asks five questions of 2 marks each. Students are given the option to answer four out of the five questions. 

4. In Section 3, the questions carry 3 marks each for any six questions out of the seven choices. The questions need to be answered briefly.

5. Section 4 consists of five long answer questions each of 5 marks. Any four questions are required to be opted by students. 

6. Section 5 consists of ‘match the following’ question of 5 marks.

7. In Section 6, students need to answer any two questions out of the three questions, which are of 5 marks each. 

8. Section 7 is a very long type answer question carrying 8 marks each. Two out of three questions are to be opted and answered by students.

Check-List Before the Exam

Students appearing for the KBPE Class 12 business studies paper need to bear a few things in their mind before entering into the examination hall. The checklist is provided below:

1. A Confident Mind: Students need to inculcate a strong and confident approach towards their preparation. This can be achieved by practising the question paper. 

2. Know the Question Pattern: To gain even better hold on the exam, students should refer to the past year papers to grasp the question base strongly. It is advised to go thoroughly through the mentioned question paper.

3. Practice Well: Practice and learning go hand in hand. This has to be understood by students.

4. Test Yourself: KBPE Class 12 Business Studies Question Paper allows students to evaluate their knowledge in the business studies paper. If this is not up to the mark, then they can do their revision again.

How to Attempt the Question Paper

In the instructions itself, students are given a brief knowledge on how to present and maintain the decorum in the exam. They are allowed 15 minutes additionally apart from the exam hours to go through the question paper. Any required calculations, graphs, equations or any other rough work did have to be shown in the answer sheet neatly. Students can also refer to the Malayalam version of the paper. 

Students should manage their time in the exam hall properly. They are advised to allow themselves a specific time for each answer so that they complete the paper on time. They can start with the long answers first as the MCQs can be answered in a short time even in the last few mins. They may leave space for the MCQs and then proceed on with the paper. They are advised to write the answers in a chronological manner with the correct question numbers as in the question paper. The whole paper must be written neatly. If time allows,  they can also revise and check their answers for any wrong or misspelt words.
