When ethanol is mixed with ammonia and passed over alumina the compound formed is which compound?
(A) ${C_2}{H_5}N{H_2}$

Hint: In this question it is said that when ethanol is reacted with ammonia as in the presence of alumina which component is going to be formed using the both reactants and passed over substance alumina. When these get reacted with each other we get Ethylamine as a result in the product as for the full process we should write the whole reaction.
Complete Step by Step Solution:
Firstly, before starting the solution of this question we just write the nature of the reactant by which it is easy to react.
So, ethanol is a clear as well as colourless liquid substance but not just only clear it is very reactive and flammable whose characteristics are with burning taste and having a donor in every compound which he forms.
Whereas, Ammonia is also a colourless substance as is the form of gas which is a mixture of Nitrogen and Hydrogen atoms. As well it is naturally produced in human body too.
As not getting further delay we must start the solution of the given question, as by getting full reaction of these molecules we get:
${C_2}{H_5}OH + N{H_3}\xrightarrow{{alu\min a}}{C_2}{H_5}N{H_2} + {H_2}O$
As by getting the result we get that, by having a reaction of ethanol and ammonia as in the presence of alumina we get the result as Ethylamine with a mixture of water molecules.
Therefore, the correct answer is ${C_2}{H_5}N{H_2}$ .
Hence, the correct option is (A).
Note: As per in this question we have used the term named alumina. What is this and where is this used so, alumina also said by the name of Aluminium Oxide it is the most used ceramic material. The approximate pH of alumina is $4.5$ when it is acidic and basic alumina has the approximate pH of $10$ .
