Students who have studied fewer than five subjects in their qualifying exam are not eligible for JEE Main 2025.

Eligibility for B.E./ B.Tech Programs

For admission to B.E./ B.Tech programs, candidates must have cleared the senior secondary examination with subjects including Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subjects, and any other subject.

Eligibility for B.Arch / B. Planning Programs

To be eligible for B.Arch / B. Planning programs, candidates must have cleared the senior secondary examination with subjects including Language, Physics, Mathematics (mandatory), Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject, and any other subject.

Students who have completed their Class 12 (or equivalent) exams outside India or haven't passed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination from a recognised Central/State Board in India are required to furnish a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
