Importance of Surface Chemistry in JEE Main

Surface chemistry deals with a process that occurs at the interfaces or surfaces. Here, the surface or interface is represented by dividing the bulk phases either by a slash or hyphen. For example, the interface between the solid and gas can be represented either by solid gas or solid/gas. Because of the complete miscibility, there is no interface between the gases.

The bulk phases we come across in surface chemistry can be of solutions or pure compounds.
