JEE Main States of Matter Revision Notes - PDF Download
Scientists have discovered that matter is made up of tiny particles. These particles are so small that we can’t even see them in our naked eyes. From observation, it is proven that matter exists in nature in various forms. Some objects have definite shapes such as wood and stone. We have also encountered some substances like water that can flow and take the shape of their container. Also, we have noticed that some matters do not possess a definite shape, but they do exist such as air.
So, we can mention the states of matter as:
Scientists have also encountered extra two states of matter apart from the above states. These two states of matter are known as Plasma and Bose-Einstein condensate.
